List of Anaheim Hills Dental Group And Orthodontics's Reviews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Dentist – Highly Recommend! I had a dental implant done by Dr. Balshe at Anaheim Hills Dental Group and Orthodontics, and he did an amazing job! The whole procedure was quick, painless, and very comfortable. I’ve had several implants before, but this was by far the best experience. Dr. Balshe is very knowledgeable and experienced — even though my case was difficult, he made it look easy! It’s only been two days, and I’m healing fast with no pain at all. I truly recommend Dr. Balshe to anyone looking for the best implant specialist!
The doctors are very nice and do a great job, the problem its the Manager in the front, no respect and no sense of management ob him
I have been visiting this clinic for the past few years. Dr. Samar Amin and Lena, the hygienist, provide excellent care and follow-up. They emphasize a preventive approach and deliver higher quality care. The customer service is outstanding, with advanced technology and a friendly atmosphere.
In Oct 1 2025, my molar tooth which I spent $1537.65 for Root canal and crown just broken in a half and fell out of my mouth after 22 days of completion even I hardly use it bc I still have a little pain after the Root canal but they told me that's the nature of root canal and it'll go away...It made me feel angry bc it took me months wt several visits and pain plus discomfort during those visits now I have to start fr Zero wt broken molar that eventually they have to cut my gum to remove the broken piece!!! Even they refunded my money but all this mistake can be avoided if Dr ROY HAYASHI( endodontist) would not be reckless or tried to make money out of me and my insurance when he knew that tooth need to be extracted NOT ROOT CANAL!!! So, be aware of this endodontist!!!!!!!
In addition to conversations on how to continues to care for my teeth, Dr C and I share family stories and uplifting moments around those times. Always a joy to have great dental care with a personal touch
I enjoy reading each dentist brief, yet handy professional and personal biography cards. Thanks to Dr. Hayashi I no longer experiecne teeth sensitivity to hot and cold foods and beverages.
My wife and I showed up for previously scheduled appointments to have our teeth cleaned. Upon check in I was told there would be a hefty fee due for the cleaning of my teeth and a very small fee for my wife's cleaning. I told the gal that I have never been charged this much before and she informed me that my Delta Dental plan only pays for one cleaning a year. That sounded really odd to me because I've been using the same plan for years and it's always been two cleanings a year. I cancelled the appointment and waited for my wife. When she was checking out they tried to charge her almost $300 for the cleaning. She complained and asked for someone else and the fee was suddenly reduced to a few dollars. I subsequently contacted Delta Dental and they confirmed that I am indeed entitled to two cleanings per year. The Delta rep theorized that they were trying to do a "deep cleaning" which is only covered once a year. She immediately offered to help me switch dentists and sent me a list of dentists in the area that participate in my plan. So, I called AH DDental Group back and told them about my converstion with Delta. The gal said that I am only entitled to two "polishings" per year, not cleanings. Sounds like wordplay to me. So I requested an appointment for a "polishing" and she refused!!! She said I need the deep cleaning and they can't do a polishing. Bottom line is that this place is a bit shadey. They tried to overcharge my wife and only wanted to upsell me a service I did not want. We ain't goin back here again. Think hard before choosing this place. Edit: The office responded to this review by asking me to call the same office (and probably talk to the same unreasonable person I talked to before). No thanks! Give me a direct line to top management and I'll consider calling.
A great experience with Dr. Ammin as always. She is thorough, quick and friendly.
The hygienist, Maggie, was so good at her job! She was able to keep me calm by talking and being funny, while doing my deep cleaning. My teeth looked so renewed afterwards. Good job Anaheim Hills Dental! 🥳
I had an appointment at 8:00 AM on 7/21/25. I was told on the phone, in email and in text to show up 15 minutes early as I was a new patient. I show up 20 minutes early and wait in my car until 7:45. I go inside and am condescendingly told that they are currently having a team meeting (in the lobby) and that it would be great if I can wait outside. I wait outside with the other people until 8:05 before we all just go in. The meeting was still happening in the lobby and only stopped when a group of people walked in after their appointment start time. I get in an have X-rays and an exam. The dentist tells me that I need 3 teeth extracted and 2 implants. The billing person comes in to tell me about the cost and different ways of paying for it. Says he used to work for pharmaceutical sales. This comes into play later. I reach out on 7/22 letting him know that I have a sibling who works for a company that will provide the implants for free. He tells me that he does not know the process but he will find out on Thursday 7/24 and let me know. I wait until Tuesday 7/29 to call back and ask for him. He was busy so they took down my phone number again for him to call me back with updated information, or even just a quick call to let me know that he was working on it. Call again on 8/1 and he was busy again. As of writing this on 8/13/25, I have still not received a phone call regarding this information. I went for a second opinion at another new dentist. They took X-rays and did an exam. When I told them that they were thinking of 3 extractions and 2 implants she told me that it was very extreme. I have a possibility down the line of re doing a root canal in one tooth but it does not need to be extracted and there were no issues with the other two teeth. My wife was in for a fluoride varnish that they charged her $30 for. The place I went to for my second opinion told me that my insurance covers this and that there would be no copay for the varnish. This was an unnecessary charge by them as well. Do not go here! Make sure if you do that you go to another place and get another opinion first. The pharmaceutical sales comment made this whole place seem like they are adding services to get costs up on patients but are not doing what is best for your teeth or you personally. All they see is dollar signs and will talk you into a care credit card to help you pay for the large amounts of bills that they are giving you without the need for these treatments.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
