Brian Riff's Online Review Report Card

Doctors do not return phone calls. I called three times over the course of a week regarding abnormal lab results and my prescription. No one ever called back, but the unfriendly office staff did call weeks later about a $20 balance on my account. Awful practice.

Took so long to give us the papers to fill out. My father was ahead of 2 people they called them first before him. His appointment was at 2:30 and they didn't attent to him until 3:30. And there was barely anyone in front lobby. Bad service.

The receptionists is really unprofessional bad attitude and Loud .

Avoid. My colon prep was poor, yet the staff conducted the colonoscopy anyways. According to industry standards, gastroenterologists are supposed to have the patient prep another day and redo the procedure. (I should have warned my insurance company.) As a result, there were very few images and findings compared to what there normally should be. Dr Dennis Riff never addressed my problems before and after the procedure. Also, he never went over my results properly. He even gave me a report with all the test images blacked out. Associated Gastroenterologists obviously do not stand behind their work or care about their patients health. Also, I called several times about severe side effects from the medications they gave me and no one addressed my concerns. I still do not know why I had a severe GI bleed, or why my stools are thin and difficult to pass. Or why I have pain when I eat and I throw up at night. Or why I have lost so much weight. I believe they never intended on fixing anything for me, it was more about charging my insurance even though I had a colonoscopy last year and the results were fine. Also, I found it unusual that the staff made a point to discuss the procedure with me while I was still sedated and told me I would never remember the conversation.

Wonderful practice with wonderful staff! I always felt both respected and cared for when entering this clinic. The doctors here are very knowledgeable. You know you're in good hands!

This place is unprofessional. I made an appointment for my mom and they asked for her insurance information to make sure they can take her in. I showed up to my appointment 2 weeks later only for them to tell me they don’t accept her insurance. A waste of time. Their inability to verify ahead of time and notify me is what makes them unprofessional

My husband has had some pretty severe pain and was misdiagnosed by another doctor. We found Dr. D. Riff. He’s been nothing but a blessing. He identified a few problems and took immediate action. We have such peace of mind knowing that Dr. Riff is on top of things. He’s honest, thorough and a straight forward. I would recommend him hands down with peace of mind.

I came to see Dr. D. Riff with host of digestive and other non related issues. I was told by another doctor that I had colitis and i was in a lot of pain. I am disabled and have been dealing with doctors all my life. I generally dont trust them and some i dont even respect. I was very nervous when I saw Dr. Riff . after introduction he asked me to tell him about myself and the reason i was there. after physical examination, with a great sense of urgency he ordered 3 tests to be done in his office, lab and hospital.As i took those test, Dr. Riff personally called me and went over the results as they became available. after the final result became available, Dr. Riff told me to make an appointment so we can put our plan of action together. when we met he asked me to tell him anything else that was bothering me that it was not related to my digestive system. After I told him he looked me in the eyes and said " we will take care of each one of them one at a time. At that moment not only i felt I can trust him but also respect him in the highest level. No other Doctor has ever listen to me the way Dr. Riff has. I know in my heart Dr. Riff understand me and feel my pain.Dr. Riff is a very professional doctor, excellent in his field, great sense of humor and outstanding bedside manner. I honestly feel i am in best hand and great care and I know IT JUST CANT GET BETTER THAN THIS..

Dr. Riff is phenomenal. He is an old school, no bs, straight shooter balanced with respect, compassion and kindness. We are so blessed to have found him. The paragon of a true doctor.
