List of Kaiser Permanente Orange County - Anaheim Medical Center's Reviews
You cannot beat Kaiser for comprehensive services made convenient for their members. The care and expertise of staff, across the board, is unparalleled.
Absolutely ridiculous experience at Kaiser. I waited 2 HOURS just to get a blood test, and on a Saturday, they only had 2 stations open. How is that acceptable? The waiting room was packed, yet Kaiser had barely enough staff to handle the number of patients. Waiting two hours for something that should be a simple and routine blood test is completely unacceptable. Kaiser needs to do better with staffing, especially on weekends. Patients' time matters too.

It was my very first time going to the hospital for anything much less getting a procedure done. Everyone was beyond great and deserve a raise and some. Especially the nurses, nothing but the best from them and watching over me.
On August 26th I received an epidural injection for back pain by DR Joon Hyundai Sung at the Kaiser Kraemer Hospital! Prior to this procedure, for the past 3 months, I was experiencing extensive back pain, primarily when I got out of bed in the morning, and I could not straighten up and I would walk painfully "hunchbacked" to a chair where my wife would apply a heating pad for approximately an hour when the pain was reduced extensively and I could walk up straight!!! Prior to my procedure DR Sung informed me of the procedure and he was very professional and explained the procedure in a manner that was very calming for me! He definitely provided a very concerned attitude related to me and my concerns! Also, his medical staff were also very professional and provided somewhat of a humorous atmosphere which I appreciated!I And they totally cared for me during my presence with them! Kaiser can be very proud of this medical team!! Subsequent to this epidural I did not experience any back pain for 4 days and at this time, a week after the procedure, I only experience very minimal pain several times each day! I am so appreciative for the excellent service I received from this medical team, God bless them!!! Thank you Kaiser!!!!!!! Ron
Over the last few years I have had a bad time from doc scares from doctor was threnen from a cook then 6 week later was TOLD he was talk to and given a few class gotten mail fo a time and where to be only to fine they were wrong as far as I care I don't want anything to do with you again I would pass away befor I ever show again you have to be the worst of them all
I debated whether to write this review, but after tonight, I’m beyond frustrated and feel like I have to say something. The difference in care from one visit to the next is completely unacceptable. My partner is immunocompromised and has lupus. When she has a severe flare and her pain reaches 10 out of 10, coming to the ER is not something we do casually. We come because she is in unbearable pain and needs medical attention. Tonight, we arrived at approximately 10:20 p.m. It is now 1:20 a.m., and we STILL have not been seen. To make matters worse, we were told we cannot wait outside because they will not text or call us when it is our turn. So an IMMUNOCOMPROMISED patient is being forced to sit for hours in a crowded ER lobby while waiting to be seen. My partner has been crying, shaking, and wailing in pain right in front of the staff, and somehow we are still sitting here waiting because, according to the head nurse, she is not considered a high-priority or high-risk patient. The dr the nurses wouldn’t even look us in the eyes when passing by calling others . i’m not saying they don’t need attention but when someone is in severe pain in your lobby you don’t just leave them there! How is this acceptable? What exactly does someone have to look like or go through before their pain is taken seriously? Watching someone you love suffer at a 10 out of 10 pain level for HOURS while being told to simply sit and wait is infuriating, helpless, and completely unacceptable. Kaiser, get it together. This is patient care. These are real people sitting in your waiting room suffering. Who is overseeing this? Who is responsible for these policies? And who decided that forcing an immunocompromised patient to remain in a lobby for hours with no alternative way to be notified was acceptable? Fix this. UPDATE: 1:55 is when we were given a room. i don’t know if it was because we are all getting impatient and i was asking for literally anyone to help us or a supervisor or someone , they keep saying they had critical patients and no we can’t wait outside we Have to be here in the lobby. IDK at what point some of these nurses have stopped caring and you can see that they look at us like we’ve ruined their days and we are a nuisance. some nurses are wonderful i won’t ever lie about that but others have a look like they wished we just had never come across their lobby, trust me we wished we didn’t have to be here either.
Very poor services at the Anaheim emergency department. My 6 yr old grandson with autism, sat in the emergency room over two and half hour without any medical care. The staff was rude and had no Compassion toward my grandson. He has a rash all over his body with an itch. The charge nurse refused to come out and speak with me. The security officer spoke with him and delivered messages.
The kaiser infusion center is a group of dedicated, hard working, top skilled nurses. This id definitely a department you hope you never need however after one visit you feel like a member of an extended family.
Great experience! Labor and delivery team was incredible! All of the little added details in the “goodie box” were amazing

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
