We consider Dr. Arora to be a true life saver! Myself and my son are alive today because of his care.He is proactive in his approach to heart health. His entire staff is friendly and efficient. He will give you all the time necessary to be sure you understand your needs and medications. In short, he is awesome!
Dr Arora is the best. He used to be cardiologist for my mom and dad and now I just went to see him to get screened for my heart and to make sure everything is OK. Dr Arora is only one of the few cardiologist who screens all his patients for Boston Laboratory Lipid Screening test as it is not known to lot of doctors. This test gives you detailed picture of your lipid profile like Lipoprotein A and Small Density LDL which are the 2 markers of developing a cardiovascular disease in future. He also performs CT Angio with Calcium Score which takes detailed view of your heart and the arteries and it also tells if you have any blockages in your artery without doing invasive angiography which involves admitting to hospital and inserting a wire from your groin all the way to your heart. He also has detailed knowledge on new prevention options to avoid future heart attacks. All these plus he also specializes in nuclear cardiology which is important test to check for coronary artery disease. I recommend Dr Arora to everyone who wants to be proactive and take step before you develop heart disease and prevent it from happening as prevention is better then cure.
For the last 12+ years, Dr. Arora made sure I stay in the best of health. I'm 74 years old and have seen many doctors but no other doctor has taken the time to get to know me and care for me like Dr. Arora. When there is a problem, he makes sure I get all the tests required to find the problem. No matter how busy he is, he will take time to find out the reason you are in his office. When he pinpoints the problem, he will make sure you get the best medicine available. No other doctor will take the time and care that Dr Arora has given me.
My husband wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Dr. Arora. This is not an exaggeration. He was at death's door. Dr. Arora's thorough assessment, diagnosis and determined treatment of my husband was a saving grace. He is extremely knowledgeable, current, dedicated and an advocate for his patients. He encourages questions and takes time to answer each one. His attitude and humor are engaging and positive. If you are looking for an excellent cardiologist and a committed team, he and his office are the place to go. We are so thankful!
Dr. Arora is one of the best in Orange County. I have known him for over 30 years as he took care of my parents into their 90's. Actually my dad made it to 99.2 and my mom 91. He is competent, compassionate, caring and will spend as much time as you need to resolve or plan a schedule of treatment. He put a pacemaker in my dad at 95 and even replaced it at 98. There might be a longer wait time than an HMO group, but that time spent might be with you next time. There needs to be more private doctors who do not have to limit your visit to 15 minutes to meet the quota of the day and ones who will actually visit you in the hospital. He drove from a family event in South County to assist with my mom who was recently sent to the hospital. He has many competent workers, many who have been there over 20 years and many procedures can be done at his office i.e. x rays, ultrasounds, scans, bloodwork. No need to get a referral and another appointment. I cannot recommend him more highly and only wish there were more of him around. Please compare medical options before signing up for those that receive a monthly stipend whether you actually use the program or not. He might save your life sometime for a measly amount of money paid by medicare. We love Dr. Arora and wish him continued good health to continue to take care of us. I only hope he has some good dr. friends to take care of him. Pam and family
Dr. Arora, has been my doctor since 1998!He is my internist and has been there for me...Good going Dr. Arora.Truly Patty B.
I went for the first time yesterday; truly looking forward as this doctor came highly recommend to me. Long story short. I asked for my medical records to be sent over, and if there was a problem please let me know. I get there, wait 45 minutes to see the dr. Get in a room and when the nurse asked why I'm here, I said well, my records should show why. She tells me they don't have them. At this point (yes, I guess I should have followed up) but it was the office staff and nurses attitude that hurt most. They all looked at me like oh well. We don't have them. I would expect after taking time out of work, that they would say we're sorry, can we call the doctor right now and get them-- nothing. Not one hint of help. Being a woman, I got in my car and cried as I was really looking forward to a second opinion.
Being new at writing a review for anything or anyone, my wife and I wrote a review on March 22, 2022 under the name of Barry C. from San Francisco. The review was actually for Sharlene C. from Placentia Ca. This review is from Barry C. for choosing Dr. Arora to become my cardiologist. Since my former cardiologist was retiring, my wife said I should have Dr. Arora as my new cardiologist, since he literally saved my wife's life. I am so thankful that I did. At first I was not sure about all the testing he was having me do, but because of all this testing he discovered a major blockage in my heart. He called in high risk specialist to place a stint in a very difficult artery to access. The procedure was successful and we are so thankful that Dr. Arora was so thorough.
My wife Donna and I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Arora. Not only has he saved my life on 3 different occasions but since 2000 he has been our doctor and has attended to most of our kids and even grandkids. He has been a blessing from God and we highly recommend him to all. He is kind, thorough, determined, always squeezes us in his busy schedule and his staff is very friendly and courteous.
Dr. Arora is what other physicians should aspire to be. He's one of those rare individuals that truly care about the welfare of his patients. He's my husband's cardiologist and my husband insisted I see him for a series of tests even though I hadn't had any immediate family history of heart problems. Dr. Aurora explained that with my medical history it would be advisable to get a baseline. I'm glad I listened! He found a serious blockage and immediately started treatment.I can see why all his patients you speak to say that he saved their lives. He and his staff are exemplary and I'm extremely grateful for their care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
