List of West Anaheim Medical Center's Reviews
This hospital was worthless to take my Asthmatic daughter. She caught Covid and she had trouble breathing due coughing and couldn't catch her breathe all they did was a pregnancy test. I was rude too and disrespected for needing to use the phone to call a ride back home. I'll never go back to this hospital again.
Having a family member in this hospital has been an experience I hope no one has to go through. The lack of communication was horrific. And if you tried to communicate with either a doctor or nurse you were either cut off or they really didn't care what you had to say. Being an advocate for my family member I have never been more disrespected by healthcare professionals. Disregarding a patient's current condition. It took 5 days to get a call from a case manager. The lack of care as well as communication gave me reason to give this review. Don't go to this hospital. If I could I would not have given it any stars.
Wait hours for my diabetes prescription. The doctor gave prescription without measuring sugar level in blood, very dangerous because if I can die if I inject too much insulin to my body. Plus, the prescription missing needles, I called them and they said they did not save my prescription and i have to wait hours again to get the another prescription for needle
Never visit this hospital. My father was in this hospital and he couldn't speak English, so my family was with him except for the time he slept at night, but I was suddenly notified at 6 pm that he would be transferred to a nursing home at 8:20 pm on Sunday evening. I can't understand how they tried to transfer the patient without the consent of the patient and family. If no one in the family was with him, my father would have been taken away without knowing where he was going and without being able to communicate. It's a really really weird hospital, so don't go. I marked one star because the nurses are generally good.
There is no way this is an actual hospital. As soon as you walk in, the ladies are giving attitude. I haven't been here in over 10 years. Today I came in and they made me wait over 2 hours just to be seen by a doc. Very unprofessional!!! No respect to foreign patients! They look at you up and down like you're a piece of sh*t lol. They gotta do better!!
Horrible service with only one doctor and rude untrained nurses.... Don't come here... Couldn't even find a spare wheelchair for my grandma who fell what a joke.
Extremely rude and unprofessional staff , I had a bad experience with the way they treated my mother in law.
This was my first time ever in a hospital since moving to Orange County. I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my ankle so I didn't have time to research hospitals. I wish I did because this one was atrocious. It was off beach blvd, so that alone should tell you to stay away. While I was waiting, a homeless lady came inside and started rubbing her hands all over the walls. The security guard stood there and watched her. There was blood on some of the chairs there. It was disgusting. I felt dirty even sitting there. The staff was basically trying to get you in and out, which I know is the point of an ER but there were no bedside manners and it was an awful experience and I will never recommend this hospital to anyone.
Zero stars, all the reviews are accurate and I can say the same. My loved one was brought in to ER.. if I had the choice, this place definelty would NOT be it. Some of the people I encountered seemed nice and helpful, but they also seemed to have no clue. The notes they take are not good; incomplete and contradicting. Also, because of the language barrier, some were flat out incorrect. I dread seeing the bill and will be dissecting it for sure. Like others said, they are LOUD, my loved one could not sleep and recorded the racket as well. I could not see him in the ER because of the ridiculous covid rules, which makes no sense because they don't even wear the mask the right way. Had to wait until they transfered him, then its ok to go in..makes no sense. Dirty room for sure.. I wondered how anyone thought that it was satisfactory. Its not like they were crowded, the hallways looked cleaner. We got the feeling that a lot of the people there are in training. I feel like they were really dragging their feet with things and his particular issue, to drag out the stay. As for the outside of the hospital/area, nasty. Hookers, meth heads and mentally ill homeless people ALL OVER. Crappy area of town. I did notice they tried to keep these people from hanging out around there though so maybe they are trying.. it's an endless battle for sure. I didnt see any of that in the waiting room but, maybe it was a good day. Lots of police action. Just don't sit ANYWHERE outside of that ER... I saw some nasty things happen on that grass. Just stay away from there if you can..
Go TO THIS HOSPITAL.I have a sister who came into the ER. She was treated with dignity. There's another hospital nearby on La PalmaTreated her like dirt and for the same thing that's wrong with her now the E.R were able to find out what was wrong with in a couple hours. That other hospital on LaPalma said NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH HER. Just know they were WRONG.The doctor called me to give me updates. WOW a doctor calling. Thank you to the registration, E.R. staff and of course the doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
