Dr. Brandel changed my life!! He went above and far beyond my expectations. He took an extra 4 hours in the OR to prevent me from the colostomy bag!!! This staff is great and more than helpful. I will never forget this man and how much my life has changed since surgery!!

I did my Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair surgery with him. He is great as a surgeon! My procedure went smoother than expected. I always got his attention and got his consultation time whenever I needed.There are many Drs in the valley with similar specialty and they have long waiting line. I find Dr. Brandel relatively easier to reach and a great person to get medical consultation. Thank you!!

This surgeon is RIGHT. ON. THE. MARK. - thorough, knowledgeable, straightforward, SENSIBLE, genuine - Trusted him completely after just the first visit - and of course, the surgery went fabulous! His assistant Sue is wonderful too!

Dr. Brandel repaired a hernia for me in late May 2014 at the San Ramon Regional Medical Center. I never had trouble scheduling a visit with him, no waiting time and had a very pleasant experience working with his staff. During our Pre-Op meeting, he was very thorough in describing the procedure, recovery time and Post-Op expectations. I've had no complications since the surgery and a quick recovery. Definitely worth the highest recommendation - Five Stars - Thanks Dr. Brandel!
