Thomas Munyon Md's Online Review Report Card

I'm on the internet looking for where he moved! I love this Dr. he listens to what you want! He does not push you to do anything you didn't come in for. He focused on what you day & will do his best to give you what you need within your price range. When a Dr. is up selling or pushing the next best thing in dermatology they walk out and send in an assist to push you to spend your money. The dr. comes back after the dirty work is done. Not him!!! He will tell you to wait for upcoming specials if it's close. I can't say enough about how great he is!!!

I tried Munyon for a general dermatology check-in and was really disappointed with the experience, which included being asked for a 5-star Yelp review 30 seconds after the doctor greeted me and hadn't actually performed any services. The staff tries extremely hard to push very expensive products that you don't need, the doctor told me about all of the money he was spending on boarding his multiple horses (which gave me an idea of why so many products are pushed), and billing was a nightmare. I received several $1000+ bills for things my insurance should have covered, and after calling multiple times and being told the office staff had just not been trained correctly in how to file the bills (the craziest explanation I have ever heard) and I would get a new correct one in the mail, I started getting collections notices for things I was told I didn't need to pay because of their filing errors. Hot mess all around and really untrustworthy staff, save yourself the trouble and do not go here.

Dermatologist was able to take me in fast. What was a 45 minute consultation turned into a 15 minute ordeal, which is quite fast considering how much information was given for five different types of medication and a shot for eczema. Looking forward to seeing better results in a few weeks :)

Dr. Munyon has helped me have healthy and beautiful skin. I highly recommend Dr. Munyon for both medical and cosmetic dermatologic issues.

Dr. Munyon and his receptionist Karen are professional, knowledgable and incredibly responsive. They are very understanding about the stress and worry of skin problems and go the extra mile to take care of their patients. Whether you're dealing with a clinical problem or an aesthetic issue, you should see Dr. Munyon. I've lived all over the country and have had numerous dermatologists so I'm very well-versed and highly recommend this practice.

I have fair, Irish skin with lots of sun damage -- and, at my age, that means lots of freezing things off my skin. I've gone to many dermatologists in my life, and Dr. Munyon has been the best in terms of educating me about different kinds of skin problems and treating the sun damaged areas in a way that resolves the issues with no or minimal scarring left behind (very targeted freezing). That is important when you have skin that needs a lot of treatment -- I still have two scars on my back from a dermatologist I saw 2 decades ago who, in hindsight, I think got a little too overzealous about removing a few harmless freckles!I will be moving soon, and the trip to Dr. Munyon will be 45 minutes to an hour vs. under 5 minutes, but I'm going to try to make it work -- that's how happy I've been with his services! This review is for their customer service. When u come first time for the consultation they are sweet and once they charge u full amount of session .. after that it is pain to get their appointment. If u email them ..no reply . Looks like Dr is very busy so do not pay attention on the new clients .I have send them few friends they all experience same ..very hard to get appointment. If u are damn so busy than why do u advertise .. First handle the existing clients well.

We-the whole family-and extended family, when they're in town- come to visit Dr. Munyon! We have been patients for over 14 years- dealing with acne, skin hypersensitivity to cysts and skincare. Dr. Munyon and Lisa Faer (R.N.) are kind, competent and passionate about providing patients with care that best suits their needs. Dr. Munyon's extensive experience allows him to diagnose skin problems remarkably accurately and manage them effectively- he and Lisa are always looking for ways to improve their practice and inform clients about new medicines. Their office is comfortable and fun- we feel very well taken care of and highly recommend them.

I faced a bad experience ....first they told one price again they r charging more....very bad behaviour....people who are worked their is nice but who took the management is wrong..... confirm price once r twice before u r going to move

I have to agree with another reviewer that Alex's bedside manner is excellent. I have been to different dermatologists before moving to the West Coast and they were not very helpful. Alex took the time to have a real conversation with me about what my concerns are and she was very effective at addressing them. I actually look forward to seeing her again. Seriously, can you believe it? Also the staff are super nice and the office has a nice look and feel. Finally, they use a mail order pharmacy which is awesome!
