This doctor is really good. I came to her after many months of being in pain. I couldn’t really do normal regular daily tasks. She did a procedure that helped/cured the issue that was causing me such great pain. A month later after recovery, I feel fantastic. I am able to do everything I was able to do before, without being bombarded with so much pain! Thank you Dr. Garza!! You are wonderful!

Dr Garza is an amazing surgeon. She is very warn and caring. She performed corrective surgery to resolve issues resulting from a botched surgery by a different physician, with very successful outcomes! I highly recommend her!

Dr Garza is an amazing surgeon. She is highly competent, professional, warm and caring. Following an unsuccessful surgery by a different surgeon, resulting in a 6-month period with several open, oozing wounds, and an infected un-healing intestine (which the original surgeon kept saying would eventually heal) I was referred to Dr Garza. As soon as she examined me she stated “you can’t live like this” and scheduled me for a major repair surgery, assisted by Dr Sanjeev Puri (also amazing!). Several months later, and a couple of f/u hospitalizations for wound care procedures by Dr Puri, my abdomen was FINALLY healed and I was back to good health, which @ 76yo was a major accomplishment! I highly recommend Dr Garza.

I almost didn't want to go into the office. Dr. Garza was competent, calm and reassuring. Exactly what I needed. I will recommend to to family and friends alike.

I was nervous and almost couldn't bring myself to go into the office. Dr. Garza is competent, easy going and calm (which is so important for me!) and put my fears to rest. Would recommend her to family (and I will.)

I really liked Dr. Garza’s bedside manner but there were several problems with the care I received from her: 1. initial office visit checkup was not thorough enough, resulting in an under-estimation of the problem 2. her practice is located at a hospital, which means that for my initial 30 minute office visit I was charged a $25 specialist copay upon check-in but then later billed an additional $300 copay from the hospital for “Outpatient Surgery” even though no surgery was performed that day 3. when I finally did have the outpatient surgery it was not successful as a result of the poor and/or rushed initial diagnosis. so after a total of $625 in copays ($25+$300 for one initial office visit and $300 for surgery) and 5 days of painful recovery from an unsuccessful surgery I still have the original problem and will have to schedule another surgery to solve my problem. End result: You can bet I will be requesting a referral to a different doctor next time and based on my overall experience I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend Dr. Garza at all.
