Annemarie Fanselau Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Fanselau has been my sons doctor for past 8 years or so and is a wonderful pediatrician. She is thorough, informative and caring. Plus she is open to discussion and questions, which I greatly appreciate. We are fortunate to have found her.

I met Dr. Fanselau 17 yrs. ago when she visited my son at birth to give him his examination. We’ve been with her ever since! After losing one child to malpractice, I was a wreck and (still) overly cautious. Dr. Fanselau is more than thorough in explaining her diagnosis. When my daughter was hospitalized with an extremely high bilirubin level, she called ahead and had a bed/room prepared and met us upon arrival. She knows my children fear shots and want to know right away if they are getting one, and she lets them know as soon as she enters. Dr. Fanselau is prompt for our visits, yet she makes us feel as if we’re her only patients for the day. When we are in the room with her, she follows up with my children on their activities and eating habits. It’s apparent that Dr. Fanselau loves her job. She’s warm and is always wearing a smile.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Fanselau's for the past 14 years. She has been great! This office offers free parking and is located close to Arcadia Methodist Hospital. Dr. Fanselau is very informative and professional. I have never felt rushed. She is attentive and supportive.

We first met doctor Fanselau when she walked into our hospital room to visit with our newborn. I just remember opening my eyes and seeing her smile. She made me feel very comfortable about the small issues our son was going through. We have been seeing her ever since. My now four year old loves her. Any time he doesn't feel good he asks to see Dr Fanselau :)

Dr, Fanselau is the best. She has been our pediatrician since our first child was born 14 years ago; when she switched practices 11 years ago and moved further away, we followed her. She doesn't sweat the small stuff or run unnecessary tests - but she doesn't overlook anything important either. My kids adore and trust her. If I am overly worried about something, she calms my fears. She cares about my kids and never makes us wait. She never rushes us, listens to us, and interacts very well with my kids. She is very respectful and attentive with them, which I so appreciate.She shares an office with several other fine doctors who we can see if Dr F. isn't available (for last minute stuff, not checkups). We have seen most of them and like them all ( there's one who is kind of intense, but she is a good physician). You really can't go wrong at this office.Choosing Dr. Fanselau as our pediatrician has been one of the best parenting choices we have ever made. I highly recommend her.

As an anxious 1st time mom, Dr. Fanselau was the PERFECT doctor for me and my newborn-2 yr. old son. Only reason we're not seeing her now is b/c we had to switch to Kaiser. She is an excellent diagnostician. She is calm, patient and focuses on priorities. She is warm in the right ways though don't expect "goo-goo, ga-gas" from her (why would you want a dr. to do that anyway), and my son always responded well to her. She was a major part in helping me cope with my anxieties about taking care of a baby for the 1st time. Will return to her when we switch our insurance back!

My kids love her. I love her. She really takes time with her patients and has called me herself numerous times to follow up when it would have been easier to have her nurse call. I don't understand the negative reviews. She has never ever been even slightly rude. I appreciate her also really trying to get the kids perspective. She has been very very knowlegable and found things that another doctor missed repeatedly.

Dr. Fanselau has been our sons doctor since he was very young. She is always nice to us and very interactive with our son. She is always open to discussion and questions about our son and is willing to spend he time with us. We don't just feel like a number to her.I highly recommend her to all parents looking for a good quality pediatrician. She is best in class!

Dr. Fanselau is fantastic. Knowledgable, personable, tough when she needs to be. She looks my kids in the eye and asks them the questions, which is refreshing. I've seen her go out of her way for her patients' care and comfort in the 16 years she's been our pediatrician. I can't say enough...

Dr. Fanselau entered our lives when she visited my newborn son in the hospital 12 years ago. She administered his first check up, and we have been with her since. She is my daughter's physician as well.After having my first child pass away due to malpractice (not with Dr. Fanselau), I am overly concerned and have a hard time trusting, and at times, I am a doubting Thomas. By the time I have arrived at Dr. Fanselau's office, I have already read up on my child's symptoms, forming my own "diagnosis."Whether an unexpected visit or our yearly visit, Dr. Fanselau always takes time to make a connection with my children. She is very thorough, asking me questions, as well as my child(ren). She gives me her diagnosis, and she is more than willing to explain the basis for her diagnosis. If it differs from my "diagnosis," she is more than humble to explain why it is otherwise. It is CRUCIAL that a doctor continues his/her learning, keeping up on the latest research. It is soothing to hear Dr. Fanselau explain her diagnosis to me, quoting the latest studies conducted. This gives me peace of mind. Knowing that she completed her pediatric residency and internship at UCLA's Mattel Children's Hospital is also reassuring.Dr. Fanselau knows us and me. She takes all my concerns for my children seriously and does not make me feel like I have no basis.I appreciate that her office has a sick and a well waiting area for the patients. There is also a special newborn waiting area. The staff is more than cheerful, and it is obvious that the staff loves children.
