List of City Of Hope Arcadia's Reviews
Really poor care for high risk breast patients transferring into this clinic and possibly COH in general. They don’t call to schedule imaging and once you do on your own behalf, they are booked out months. They then delay further with back and forth about getting a hold of your doctor to put in stat orders. You don’t get called when promised, there are no patients navigators or coordinators and things slip through the cracks. If you’re someone who gets biannual breast imaging consider the care here a nightmare.

Dr K and staffs are the best compare to the one I go in Vegas. I only saw my doctor once when I get diagnosed and never saw him again for more than 3 months. But Dr k, are different. He truly care about his patients and always communicates with me. I am glad I chose him to be my doctor. Thank you
i am a patient from city of hope arcadia. for me, all the staffs there are super nice and helpful. each wait time max around 5min. the front desk girls are very nice. Dr Chung is very smart ,patient , professional; Dr Costello is a very nice doctor ;Attention to detail...,very patient too.....there is also nurse Luna a super nice staff, and the staffs from infusion department are super nice and very take care of you ,...any way , i found everyone from city of hope arcadia are very nice, the doctors are really nice ,responsible and professional .... they won't let you disappoint !
Have been trying to make an infusion appointment since 8/19. Left 2 messages to Dora on Monday and Tuesday(the phone number given by my doctor) no one gets back to me. Today is Friday, I finally get more information from my doctor and tried again. I have been on the phone for more than 20 minutes and been transferring back and forth, no one really try to help me. I just wanted to make an appointment. This is so frustrated. Feel like no "Hope" with City of Hope!!!
As a former patient at City of Hope, now at USC Norris and Keck, I can compare the two treatment centers, with first-hand experience. COH claims that they exist "to cure cancer." That may be true, but I wish they cared about their patients as much as their mission. I do not believe they do, as is evidenced by the wait times in clinics, and doctors and nurses who look at you like they've never seen you before, and barely look up from their research protocols as they speak to you. USC Keck, in the other hand, has handled me, and unfortunately there have been multiple issues which which I have had to deal since COH (one of which is COH's mishandling of my prostate cancer treatment), with care and respect. From parking, to the clinics, OR's, recovery, ICU's to general post-op, and discharge, I have always been treated like a human, and not just a research specimen, as was the case at COH. If one has to make a choice for medical treatment, especially cancer, and I truly hope you do not, USC Norris and Keck are my hands-down choice over City of Hope
Services not good here. Long wait to get someone on the phone. Once they took down the message, no one called back. I had to call multiple times to check on my mammogram and ultrasound referral status. 2 months later, I showed up at the radiology facility in South Pasadena where I had these 2 procedures done 6 months ago which were referred by this same doctor. Then was told by the staff that the staff at the doctor's office had asked for the authorizations with the wrong radiology facility, which is next door that does not do these procedures. Waited 15 minutes for the lady to call the doctor's office to correct this mistake.
Call COH to schedule an appointment. It was s long wait to get someone on the line! The lady I spoke with Kim Garcia was soooooooo patient and helpful. She was very polite, personable and professional. She represents COH and did an excellent job!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
