List of June-Chih Liu Md's Reviews
The office staff is horrible. In late November I got my referral later to Dr. liu and quickly called to set up an appointment and was told the next available was 3 months out. I made an appointment. When I called today 7 weeks later to confirm, I was told they had no record of my appointment and they don't take my insurance. After reading the reviews about his rudeness, arrogance, and poor office, I'm glad that I am finding a new neurologist. Do not go here.
I usually don't give negative reviews, but as a public service I need to let everyone know that Dr. Liu must be the absolute worst doctor in any field, bar none. He saw my mother earlier this year. He was late by 2 hours. When he arrived in the room, he didn't say a word and sat down at the computer. No apology from him for being crazy late. She greeted him and he didn't respond or turn around. When he finally opened his mouth he said something offensive. While she was trying to explain her symptoms, he was incredibly rude. He didn't let her talk more than a few words at a time before interrupting. He berated her for not giving him the answer he wanted to hear. Look, everyone knows the first step in being a great doctor is to learn how to listen to patients. He never learned that in med school or elsewhere. I don't care how smart someone is at baseline. If they can't gather all the pieces of the puzzle together first, they're not going to be effective. What a shame. If we could give 0 stars we would. This kind of attitude isn't only ineffective, but can actually kill someone if he's not getting the complete picture. If you care about yourself or loved ones then go to someone else even if he's the only neurologist in your insurance network.
Agreed with all the negative reviews. I experienced it first hand today. He said he's a man and cannot multitask, so don't talk to him when he's typing. Only talk to him when he turns to you and looks at you. Chevrolet is an American car that a 82 year old senior immigrated 27 years old should know and pronounce.
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Avoid this outfit if you suffer from depression or any type of mental issues. The attitude of the staff will make you feel worse, guaranteed.Dr. Liu and his staff treat folks with a pompous air of self-importance that is harmful to most patients' psychological well-being. Dr. Liu does not read his emails and rarely answers questions from patients. He is woefully deficient in social skills, though he is apparently competent as a medical doctor. His patients are mostly individuals who do not speak English, so they have few other options. Dr. Liu is in high demand due to the scarcity of Mandarin-speaking neurologists in San Gabriel Valley. Perhaps this is the reason the staff at Liu Neurology can afford to be disrespectful and arrogant to anyone seeking their services for such a long time.P.S. If you enjoy being belittled and insulted by a highly educated individual who thinks very highly of himself, Dr. Liu is the perfect match for you.
Best Neuro Ever. I have MS.
I read all his reviews before I brought my parent to see Dr Liu . Many bad reviews but I didn't believe it until I experienced it and see with my own eyes how he treated my parent. What type of Doc is he ? The way how he treated my parent with no sympathy and rudeness, make me so mad and upset . Instead of helping but he is making it worst. He is not deserve to have someone call him a Doctor at all.Anyone who read this post, if you don't believe me then feel free to have that experience and see with your own eyes.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! This Dr. Liu character is the rudest, most arrogant and unprofessional doctor I have ever met! He does not even deserve 1 star! Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor at all cost
I took my grandpa to see Dr. Liu for the first time. Which was referral by his family doctor. I regretted that I didn't check out his Yelp review! I was not surprised at all that he has such a terrible rating. Some one (probably his friends or family wrote a review about how amazing he is and do not judge him from all his negative reviews) From my experience, all the negative comments are all TRUE !! He is very very rude, and arrogant. I've never encounter any doctors as rude as he is. He mistreated my grandpa and kept mocking my grandpa's English even though his English isn't that great. The way he talks to my grandpa made him very nervous and anxious I can tell. DO NOT see Dr. Liu , if your looking for a professional neurologist! Believe all the negative reviews. If 1 or 2 negative reviews it's understandable, but 8 out of 10 bad one is something to think about . I will change a new neurologist after this bad experience.
We've been sending my grandparents to Dr. Liu's office since 2017 and he's been patient and detailed with his service. He gave us extra advice on how to use the medicine and exercises. Great service.
Experience was terrible. Dr. Liu was very arrogant and rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
