Terrence Baruch's Online Review Report Card

Dr, Baruch is okay as a cardiologist, but as some of the other reviewers said, he is flip, sarcastic, and hasn't let go of his hippie persona, But that doesn't deter me, as I just give it right back to him in a nice way. That seems to work okay, but I think some to the other cardiologists in the office are more personable. I don't like to have phone appointments with him, as he cuts you short and won't listen to what you say. I need to be face to face with him in order to get him to listen to me.

The Hippocratic oath says "Do no harm"So i take that as mental or physical.I am noticing we are not the first to report the atrocious behavior of Dr Baruch.He had the audacity to get down and right in the face of an 83 year old woman with a 40 plus year heart condition, verified by well known cardiologists and tells her that she has nothing wrong. Intimidating her and getting irate when she merely stated that at her age, and with her heart problems she wouldn't be able to endure a 1 hour treadmill stress test. He said I am a doctor do you think you know better than me? He didn't even spend 5 Min and the time he was there he was angry demeaning and belittling.

Excellent doctor. I am a senior athlete with a lot of stress issues dating back to Vietnam but he provided a calming resolution to my heart issues. He has been my cardiologist for more than 17 years. The facility also has an on-site PET scan which provided results and doctor review in one visit.

My husband was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure about 1 year ago. Due to his condition he had an ongoing issue with swelling in his legs. Dr B (an overgrown hippy...think 45's personal physican) kept saying it's not his heart it's his kidneys. Kidney Dr. ran test after test and his kidneys were in average working condition. Dr. B didn't care. He found every excuse to blame the kidneys. During one stay in the hospital, one of Dr B's associates came to see my husband and explained that his heart valves were not working as they should. Dr. B would not follow up with that diagnosis, kept insisting it was kidneys. Finally (start of May 2020) associate Dr. made arrangements to have surgery done on the valves, appt set for June 9 (of course Dr's have to take their f**king vacation. My husband ended up back in the hospital on May 20th. Called Dr.B's office they said they couldn't see him unless requested by hospital primary. My husband died May 22. Yes I blame Dr. Baruch for being uncaring, unresponsible, lazy, and unprofessional.

He prescribes needed tests in a timely manner. He knows my heart’s conditions very well. Friendly, funny, cheerful and answers my concerns thoroughly.

This doctor was the worst ever we had ever experienced! This man did not allow my husband to have any water he was thoroughly dehydrated! He lost 20 pounds and he’s on permanent heart medication now! Stay away from this horrible doctor!

Dr. Baruch, came highly recommended. His office is one stop for all cardio testing. Well organized. Efficient staff. less than 10 minute wait on each visit. Dr. Baruch is an excellent diagnostician. Thorough,patient, kind.

Outstanding physician. Office is above the best for efficiency. Modern testing equipment , Everything is so convenient. Wait is 5-10 minutes. One on One with Dr. Baruch most impressive. I highly recommend him. His knowledge and concern are +++++.

I've seen Dr. Baruch 3 or 4 times and if I add up all of the visits, I was with him about 10-15 minutes. Don't blink. The last time I saw him, he was in and out of the room in less than two minutes. He asked me a question and two seconds into my response he interrupted me, showing no interest in my answer. On another occasion, I had had a stress test and he came in and looked at the results for the first time as I sat there. I get the feeling that he knows his stuff, and maybe there was a time when he didn't mind seeing patients, but now he makes you feel like you're an inconvenience, albeit with a smile. I don't recommend him if you like your doctor to spend a little time with you and to actually listen to you.

My impression is that he knows his stuff, but if you blink, you'll miss him. For example, the last time i saw him he LITERALLY came in for no more than 1-2 minutes. The other 2-3 times I saw him, no more than 5 minutes each time. The folks who gave me the stress test were great and a nurse practitioner was very good, but Dr. Baruch is always in a hurry. In fact, when I went to see him after the stress test, it was clear that he had not reviewed it. So I sat there while he reviewed it quickly. He clearly does not want to engage you.
