I love this place! All the providers and staff have been so compassionate, flexible, and they take the time to answer all the questions you may have. I highly recommend them for prenatal care.
So far, I like NPS. Unfortunately, if you have a weekend emergency, this company (Open Door Community Health Centers) is notorious for hiring rude receptionists. I had to call the after hours line on a Saturday, scared at the end of my first trimester, and "Operator 143," who refused to give me her name, gave me the third degree about why I needed to talk to someone with medical knowledge. She decided I wasn't having an emergency and told me to wait until Monday. I could not believe how rude she was-- I even told her it would be nice if she could drop the sarcasm considering I'm just a scared patient. She didn't get it and started bitching at me! So, moral of the story, IF YOU ARE PLANNING AN UNCOMPLICATED PREGNANCY, NPS IS GREAT. IF NOT, YOU MAY HAVE TO DEAL WITH RECEPTIONISTS AND SUPPORT STAFF MORE, WHICH MEANS DEALING WITH RUDE RECEPTIONISTS WHO ARE CONDESCENDING AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE CRAP FOR BEING SCARED. (BY THE WAY, WHEN I STARTED, THEY SAID I COULD CALL 24/7 IF I FELT THE NEED.)Honestly, health care in this county stinks. This is coming from a medical assistant who works here. Most support staff don't care about patient needs. They are all underpaid. Just move.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
