If I could give it a 0 star, I would. I had the most unpleasant experience for my 6 months old baby. Starting from the unfriendly staff to the most uncaring, rude pediatrician I've met so far. When I called initially to make an appointment, I asked if he spoke English, which was not true. I wanted to communicate everything in English so we don't have any miscommunications but he just spoke Korean from the beginning.He didn't even acknowledge my child and pretty much told me to hold his arms down to just give him his 6 months vaccinations.I came from being a patient at Kaiser, which people say we're just a number, but even my son's pediatrician there took his time and answered all our concerns and was gentle with our baby.I cannot believe this doctor is still in the business. My experience here was horrible and I just felt like it was an express drive thru or some sort- seeing one patient to the next in very short amounts of time.I switched to another place soon after our experience back in February.

He's old fashioned, yes because he's not a newbie. He does old school medicine, but he seems like knows things from his long experience. He gave me very practical advises, for example - put double layer clothes to prevent getting cold on my baby, it's simple advice but it surely help my son from cold I believe. I moved to Kaiser just because of our insurance, but I still recommend this doctor if you do not mind old school medicine.

Horrible hospitality. My son and I went there for the first time today and from start to finish horrible. Especially the receptionist. Know I hafto call my insurance to get a referral for my son to see a psychiatrist because apparently the receptionist could not or would not call and actually do her job. I would not recommend anyone to take there kiddo here.

Dr. Kim was my pediatrician and now I take both my kids to him.  He is personable and very experienced.  My son dislocated his shoulder as a toddler and Dr. Kim popped it right back in.  My son was feeling much better after that.  It has been 9 years and he has not dislocated his shoulder since then.The wait time is also short which is an added plus because I dont have much time to waste.

I have been coming here for all my three kids.  I like that he can answer all my questions and let me know if things are worrisome vs nothing to worry about.  Very knowledgeable.  He is quick and doesn't beat around the bush.  The thing I like most about the place is the short wait time, I have been to places where I would wait for hours from checking in to getting to see the doc, but Dr Kim's max wait time was maybe ~10 min.  I have no complaints he is awesome.

I have been taking my children to Dr. Kim since the birth of my firstborn 4 years ago and now with my second who is almost 1 now.   Dr. Kim is very experienced and calm in my most panic moments of child scare and can diagnose any illness that google can't.  He is honest and you can trust your loved ones with him - I can vouch.

Whoever answered the phone was really rude. You don't dismiss me like that when I told you I have strep throat for 3 days and I want to see the doctor - instead she just said i have to call back tmrw and hung up on my face? like wtf? Hopefully my insurance gets me a new doctor because this was unacceptable

This is by far one of the better pediatricians we have been to. Dr. Kim and his staff listen to me as a parent, they are not dismissive and I can always get an appointment within a reasonable time frame. Dr. Kim explains things to us and makes us feel comfortable. He allows alternative vax schedules and is okay with you deciding to wait or decline. Absolutely respectful and a delight for us to go there. I don't understand the negative reviews here on yelp because we have only had positive experiences with this practice. They take cash or check only no credit card. Absolutely love coming here and have found someone that will listen to me about my son without making us feel like we don't know what the hell we are talking about. So happy we found Dr. Kim!

He turns everything to mom's fault. And he didnt even tell me a lot about eczema and yet blames mom for that, hey arent you a doctor to tell me how to take care of my baby if I dont do well? He just blames blames and blames. I go to Lee Jeong Ok MD now. She is much better baby doctor.
