Dr.Kristopher Howalt Doesn't care about his patient he rather feeds you more meds after meds and their staff needs to be investigated Sujey Marin Marya and Anna the Director and Jen Murry the assistant they will lie on you and dismiss you when you have proof  like today Marya told me to the fucken go  outside and I called her a "B" and told her to step out and her reply was "Out their" then sujey Marin told her to stop and when I told them to look at cameras they said they didn't work and this is why you record in this types of places because they will lie on you  not just that they do not follow HIPPA at all they put the patients on the speaker they use a lab that gives faulty positives and when you ask them why they keep using the same Lab they say they don't know and a lot of people are scared to report them.. then to top it off counselor do NOT Do their jobs when its time for the counseling sessions they just keep you on the phone for a whole hour than when it time they hung up and they let you go about your business without saying a word! mute works greats for them!! not to mention half of the staff there are friends with the patients outside of their job on a personal level.   Anna And Jen Are The Best Liers I Know They Will Lie For The Sake Of Their Jobs  and to ALL THE PATIENTS THAT GO THERE DONT LISTEN TO HOWALTS RECOMMENDATIONS he will keep you on meds just so you keep ONGOING because without you they don't have jobs and NO ANNA or JEN THE IS NOT A MENTAL ISSUE or a MELTDOWN

This place helps people who are fighting the disease of addiction as well as helps to build a foundation and the tools to live “better happiness.”awaits.

Okay so loving & caring about your loved one here, while isn't important to the staff here, even management. It is important to family members who know more about the daily activities of their beloved family member ! This staff doesnt seem to the necessary intelligence to realize that they are being played by their clientele because they are too invested their abilities to make money ! You can call in and say hey !!! My family member has never stopped using drugs as aegis only cares about keeping their coffers full ! Great place to waste you're time trying to help your family !

People who work here pretend to care but would rather act like petty teenagers than actually help those who need it. Putting their egos above the health of those who come here to change their lives and work through their addictions. Get it together, Aegis. You might wind up killing somebody due to your lack of morality and carelessness one day... but why should you care. You're only there to play God for a paycheck anyway.

If it weren't for this place I would be dead. I'm pretty sure of it. Everyone is great and understanding . nonjudgmental and fair . please if you feel you have no hope or people say your weak if you go there, screw them. Its your life and it will get better and everything can be easily detoxed from in time , your time , while you still have time

I use to believe in this place. If your looking for sympathy you wont find it here. As long as you feed the money machine there your best friend. As soon as you truly need help they will toss you like your trash. I was so ready to get sober. But this last experience makes me want even more. Its just like any other dealer. You got cash there your best friend.. You don't then your not wan there time. There so much more shady things I could say but in not going down to there level. I hope everyone luck with there a recovery. Don't let them beat you down. Remember. The is a JOB to them. This is our life. Just don't except any sympathy

Passive-aggresive working environment. Don't go here. Find a different treatment center that treats patients with respect. Remember these places are for-profit, and they want to keep taking your money by putting you on long term maintenance instead of encouraging detox.

Larry Clinton doesn't even go here. He's a sick alcoholic who asked me his cousin to have sex with him. He's just lashing out at Aegis. Aegis has saved my life. My cousin is miserable and very sick. And is retaliating because he wanted to talk to the staff but there's HIPPA LAWS . And without my consent he cant be a part of my treatment. Besides this he's Also pretending to be JOHNATHIN STORMBORN . I see people everyday being helped here. I mean the Dr is the best the Counselors are wonderful. Don't listen to this guy he's a very vindictive alcoholic.

I don't know if Santa Maria is any better, since it's still the same doctor, but I just know that this Aegis sucks. They used to be helpful and supportive, but in the last couple months everyone who works there seems to be miserable, on edge, and ready to lie and torture you at the drop of a hat. There's a reason the front desk people are in such frequent rotation. Because this place sucks the soul out of them and turns sweet, nice, caring people into bitter, miserable gossip hags. What ever happened to confidentiality? This place doesn't follow any of their own protocol, nor do they respect your rights. They will nearly force you to move up your dose every time you see the doctor, even if you say you don't want to and that you're feeling good at the dose you're at. They do this so that they can make sure it will hurt as much as physically possible when they pull the rug out from under you and kick you of the program, despite having no legitimate reasons for you to be discharged. Actually they'll ignore all of the serious pre-existing medical conditions for which you shouldn't be taken off of 130 mg in 15 days. Not to mention their bogus way of tapering you down in those 15 days. ANYWHERE you read anything about methadone, it says that the only way to successfully and safely be taken off of it is to taper sllooowlllyyyyy. Yet they'll do the exact opposite. 130mg/15 days...8.6666mg less a day, correct? False. THEY seem to think that doing it by a percentage is better(which, they will refuse to tell you what the percentage they use is) which will have you dropping 25mg the first day, 23mg the second, and by the 7th day, you're down to 12mg or so. Then you still have 8 days to taper the ridiculous 12mg that doesn't even touch your withdrawal symptoms. And during these 15 days, the staff will treat you like you are the biggest piece of garbage to ever exist, and they will pick on you and push you to your breaking point by asking for ridiculous things like UAs and saying you have to wait to dose when you haven't missed anything. If I'm kicked out, then why do they still want to even waste time and money collecting my urine? OH, and all of this will be happening to you because of an unrelated infection on your leg, for which you have been seen by 3 emergency room doctors and your personal doctor and are on antibiotics for, and because there was someone in your car when you came to dose, who stood up outside the car for a second to adjust their seat and happened to be sharpening a knife before standing up. Not in a threatening way at all. And even though you cooperated with the staff by ratting out your friends name to their overly paranoid staff. OH, and if you were wondering about your rights and how much of this they've been doing to you is legal? Well good luck! Cause they'll lie about the reasons you're getting kicked out in order to make you suffer as much as physically possible while you try to be your own advocate and stand up for yourself, despite barely being able to literally stand up without having a seizure. (That's right, I was having multiple seizures due to the withdrawals, which they were VERY aware of, yet they kept the torturing going). So in conclusion, should you go to aegis in order to get your life back on track? Sure, if you only want that new life to last a short amount of time, just to have it all come crashing down while your life is put at risk and the employees at this "medical office" do everything to make sure you're as uncomfortable as possible. I do believe methadone is a fantastic way to get off of opiates, but only if it's done correctly, and tapered slowly. Like over the course of 6 months or so. Or even 3. Just NOT 15 DAYS!!! That will NEVER be enough time to come off of 130mg methadone safely and successfully. I recommend the doctor and staff take a step back and try to remember a time when they got into this field of work in order to HELP people, not kill people, and try to get back to that mind set. I can't believe there haven't been more lawsuits....well, it's never too late, right?
