List of Janet Kershaw-Mclennan's Reviews
All the staff here are super nice and helpful. They really listened to mine and my husband’s issues. Both of our issues were resolved promptly after our visits due to the treatment they prescribed. I have also called to ask questions regarding my health and Dr. McLennan took the time to speak to me directly. Would recommend to anyone looking for an allergist.
Very knowledgeable and caring. Got my asthma under control

The Doctor herself was very kind, patient and informative. The billing service the facility uses on the other hand is a joke. First off I was quoted a responsible price for a virtual follow, upon receiving my bill it was three times the amount discussed, I was headed out of town on emergency and this was last thing I needed to be dealing with! After finally getting ahold of Debbie, who was very helpful in getting the correct amount billed. Once I received the updated bill I reached out to the number that was provided on the invoice and hopes to make a payment. I was informed that no payment is accepted over the phone, I can pay in two forms in the 21st century, money order or send a check in the mail. First off I don't feel comfortable sending my personal account information easily readily available for anyone to rip open and discover. I also don't think that it's convenient to ask your patient to go to the bank or to Walmart, stand in line, spend extra money on a money order and then drop it in the mail to pay the bill. I have driven to Atascadero twice, first time I thought that they were back from lunch earlier than they were and comes to find out that they have a two hour lunch from noon to two. I'm not even sure what their hours are because Google says something different than what's outside of their business so it's very hard to know what their hours are. I tried to call and you can't get through to anybody you can't even leave a message there's no way to communicate so I guess they're just going to get their money whenever I can get in there and get it to them. Doesn't make much sense to make your patient jump through hoops in order to pay a bill, it would be wise to reduce anxiety and stress and make the forms of communication and forms of payment easily accessible for your patients to get you your money. I want to pay just not happy at all with the process and circus act required. Please for the love of God make some changes, invest a little more in a billing system that can actually help.
Just had our first allergist visit with the NP Marna Moore-Barr. It was for my 17 year old daughter who was being treated for eczema. It was the most thorough doctors visit ever. My daughter has seen multiple doctors about her eczema including the dermatologist. Marna educated us about numerous things we hadn't heard before and also some things we had heard before. She explained things in way that really made sense to my 17 year old know it all. Thank you Marna! We are so grateful to have your help. You are the best!
I wish I could leave a review for the doctor herself, but her receptionist Maria refuses to schedule an appointment for me! My allergies have sent me to urgent care twice for steroids in recent months to reduce the swelling in my face and since I moved down here recently I'm a new patient so I've yet to be able to locate a primary care doctor who can see me until after January. Urgent care told me to see an allergist ASAP, and on Wednesday my insurance company found this doctor for me and was apparently told they're scheduling appointments for next month. Relieved I immediately called and was informed by Maria that she was with someone and could she call me right back. I agreed, understanding that sometimes things demand more attention. 5 hours later I'd not received a call back so I called again. "Sorry, I've been busy I'll call you back tomorrow to schedule an appointment for you would that be alright?" was Maria's response. Thursday came and went without a call. Today being Friday I called to try, yet again, to get an appointment and the office recording states THEY'RE CLOSED THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS... I'm unsure what I did to make this girl refuse to schedule an appointment for me, but if anyone has any tips on how to get an actual appointment I'm all ears.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
