I was a patient at Atwater medical center for over 10 yrs One day I got a call that all the drs had quit and that Dr Yaqub wouldnt be filling prescriptions Ive been taking for yrs To go somewhere else to get them

We feel fortunate that In todays health care environment we have found a Dr that truly cares. He spoke clearly so my 88 yr old father actually understood him. He answered all our questions and established a great plan for going forward. Finally, we may actually get some proper treatment.

If i could give a zero star i would i was threatened in front of my child to follow all of Dr. Yaqub's instructions that if i didnt follow everything he said that I would be banned from the location and as i was visiting him he was unprofessional by making fun of my previous doctor that worked there i will be looking for another place to recive medical care and i hope he has his medical license revoked and be banned from practiceing medicine with how unprofessional he was. I send out this review as a safeguard for others with children like myself that this is not the doctor for you.

Dr. Yaqub is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a medical professional. It is sad to see what was once a thriving practice provide such a substandard level of care. I now understand why all of the decent doctor's have left or are leaving this practice. If you genuinely need medical care, do not go here. I will NEVER return.

While Christmas shopping in atwater(I'm from Mariposa), my daughter started having bad ear pain. She was crying and sweaty. Atwater Medical Group was still open. The receptionist was very nice, and asked if we could get there by 6:30. I called at 6:05. I told her yes, that I would pay for my groceries and head over. At 6:15, I'm at the car, and get a call back that Dr. Yaqub decided it was time to go home, even knowing a sick child was on her way. They close at 7. NOT happy!!!

Incompetent doctor. Has misdiagnosed two majors illnesses with my immediate family. One issue was a misdiagnosed gallbladder that required immediate surgery and another misdiagnoses of bronchitis with my daughter. Save your money, time, and potential life please. Find another competent doctor!
