Very competent, caring Dr. Did both of my knees, one in '06, other in '14. Excellent recovery, no more pain. He cares for his patients and shows great compassion.

I have had Dr Williams due two surgeries now on my left knee and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend him.

Benjamin Williams is my choice for any orthopedic surgery. My husband and I have known him since 1994 and he has performed my shoulder surgery several years ago, hip replacement and knee replacement surgery recently on me. He has performed carpel tunnel surgery on my husband several years ago. He is the best. I am so glad he is in Auburn and I always recommend him to everyone I talk to regarding his practice.

I consider myself to be a very compliant patient. I was referred to Dr. Williams by my PCP. Wait-room was standing room only. When I arrived at my appointment I was told that I would be seen instead by his PA, Julie. I often see my PCP PA so I was fine with it. However, I quickly felt that she did not actually want to listen to my concerns. Every single thing that I started to say was cut off with her saying 'Yes, but..'. I got the feeling that the Doctor had looked at my MRI and decided that I wasn't worth the trouble. Obviously, I could be wrong, but that's certainly the impression that I got from her. She didn't seem to care that I was actually crying from pain or that I hadn't had decent sleep in weeks. In the end, she prescribed a cream and some physical therapy. The nurse had me fill out paperwork regarding my pain; the PA didn't even look at it. I have no idea what the outcome of any treatment that I can expect. Really, I felt like a cow being herded through the steps.

Dr Williams has performed both right and left total hip replacements for me. His skill is unparalleled. I am now walking and working again without pain like I was 25yrs ago. Dr Williams cares for his patients as family. The only thing that matches his surgical skills is his caring and compassion. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, he is your BEST choice. My recovery has been nothing short of a miracle.

Pompous man with a God Complex. I dont think he's ever had any major surgery to recover from, if he has then he let's his ego get in the way of remembering what it was like. No compassion or understanding.

When I brought up my concerns he belittled me and treated me as an inferior. I was told "I dont know what to tell you, it should be better by now" just 5 days after getting two surgical procedures done in the same day. He is really cocky and high on his horse. I felt very violated and treated as a piece of dirt.

I had rotator surgery. I had very little recovery pain and in six months I was completely back to normal. I have recommended Dr Williams to several people and they have all had great experiences.

I wish to right a review about Dr. Williams, who I hear is very good. My mother very much needed his help. Unfortunately, we never made it past his evil, rude, and mean reception staff. They literally left my mother in tears when she tried to schedule an appointment and provide medical documentation. If you want a strong dose of abuse before your orthopedic consultation, this is the place.
