He is the best surgeon in town, very kind, well mannered, very trustworthy and very competent. He walked me through with my surgery and its progress to healing. All his staff were also kind and helpful.

Pre op to surgery to post op. Arturo Gomez and his staff were very professional and reassuring and gave me as many details as I asked for. Letting me know the risks and benefits of the surgery. They were always 100% honest and upfront about what could and couldn’t be achieved. The complicated surgery was a success. I fell off a 12 ft ladder on Thanksgiving and was rushed to KMC with multiple fractures in my right ankle and a detached elbow. The trauma team at KMC worked diligently to save my right forearm and ankle all night. I just hope I didn't ruin anyone's Thanksgiving plans. Dr. Gomez and Dr. Hashemi saved my limbs. My family and I are extremely grateful.

Dr.Gomez replaced my left knee on 4-30-19.I was off pain meds and walking in 3 weeks. The knee works perfectly.Dr.Gomez is a fantastic surgeon,and made it possible for me to resume a nomal life.Thank you,Dr. Gomez.

I was referred to Dr. Gomez for a knee replacement. I have been suffering in severe pain for over a year, and have become totally dependent on my wheelchair to get around. Needless to say, I haven't been able to exercise as much as I should and I gained a little bit of weight. Dr. Gomez was so rude and cold-hearted. After spending a few minutes speaking with his nurse, he barged in the room and told me that I was too fat for surgery, and told me to come back when my weight was under control.He then walked out, leaving me feeling completely embarrassed and like I never had a chance to say a word. I requested a new visit with a different surgeon and was referred to one of Dr. Gomez's partners. Such a night and day experience. The new surgeon was kind and gave me a chance to speak. He did tell me that I would need to lose some weight to qualify for surgery, but the way he did it made me feel like a human being. Dr. Gomez- I hope you see this message and I hope you change the way you talk to people. You may be a good surgeon, but your bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired.

Dr Arturo Gomez is a great doctor. Has a great bed side manner. Dr Gomez did both my hips. Great job. My recovery on the first was 7weeks and the second was 4weeks. Also had a great PT and OT at Shaffter Golden Living nursing home. I was there 3 weeks both times.

My daughter broke her arm and needed surgery. We took her to KMC and got doctor Gomez. He was very caring and poliet. He never once thought of my daughter as just a patient but as a person. Then this year when my son broke his leg we again got doctor Gomez who remembered me from when my daughter broke her arm...Again he was very poliet and explained the process to me and made sure that all my questions were answered. I would recremend him to anyone in need of an ortho surgon.
