Bakersfield Hematology Oncology Group's Online Review Report Card

Not sure what I could say about this place. The wait time is beyond ridiculous and they're very disorganized and you never see the same Dr! I'm going elsewhere thanks Bksfld Hematology.

Staff is awesome, supportive and compassionate from font office to chemo team. Thai Vi has assisted me many times in troubleshooting and getting my needs met. Dr. VU Has been awesome. Dr Berz, my medical Oncologist is my hero with Thomas my chemo nurse. I was given my life back with their wonderful treatment.

I am so glad that this office has new oncologists and a new management team. The new staff are all courteous and professional. The previous staff were rude and just a bunch of gossipers who are oblivious to their surrounding and do not care at all about their patients. I used to wait 2-3 hours to get seen by Dr. Nguyen. Now I get seen by my new oncologist, Dr. Janoski, within 10 minutes of arriving. He is knowledgeable and thorough, discussed all my options and involved me and my family in the decision making. It is so refreshing to go to a medical office with a competent and caring team, who really care about their patients well-being. I also love the new office decor! It's nice and bright, very welcoming!

It's stressful enough to be diagnosed with cancer. But going to this clinic where everyone is caring and genuine definitely helps in my journey to recovery. My oncologist is very knowledgeable and explains everything to me thoroughly. The staff is very attentive and considerate. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anybody.

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Vinh-Linh Nguyen of Bakersfield Oncology & Hemotology and his staff. I was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer that was already at stage 3 when found. After a bi-lateral mastectomy and healing, I began chemo with Dr. Nguyen and his team and not a day goes by that I don't thank God for this man. His knowledge, and caring and encouraging bed side manner made all the difference. His supportive staff, from the receptionist to the chemo nurse and made the visit just a little bit easier. Sometimes I've had to wait well beyond my appointment time, but I never complain. Because I know the time he is giving the patient before me, he will give me. And he may be giving that patient news that is very unfortunate. I've referred others to this doctor who had the unfortunate experience of getting cancer. They experienced the same as me. I could've gone to any doctor, and I did for a second opinion ( UCLA). But I'm happy I chose Dr. Nguyen. As a seven year Survivor I have no regrets!!!
