Dr Serxner didn’t rush me into surgery (like many others do) He cared about me as his patient and always listened to my questions…..explaining things so that I could understand them. If I ever need neurosurgery again, I wouldn’t consider anyone else. Whenever I called after surgery with a question, his staff talked to me and helped me when it wasn’t a question for the Dr. They were always so sweet and very professional! Can I give Dr Serxner 100 Stars?

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Serxner; he honestly saved me. I experienced three years of life-altering symptoms (the most severe of which was loss of bowel control) and frustration before my spinal condition was found in my thoracic spine. I was referred to a couple neurosurgeons for two (rare) giant calcified thoracic herniations causing compression of my spinal cord. I knew Dr. Serxner was the right doctor to help me. He took time to explain everything and made me at ease with his confidence. I had a multilevel thoracic fusion, discectomies and facectomies. My care was thorough, and my year of follow up was careful and respectful through my recovery. Dr. Serxner meets you at your level of knowledge and understanding, and he is an excellent surgeon. He is honest and cares that you receive a positive (in my case) life-changing result. I also saw Dr. Liker prior to my surgery, and he was dismissive, arrogant, and absolutely not even a consideration for me regarding my care.

Had cervical spine surgery with good results. Dr. Serxner always shows you and explains every radiology test that is perforemed. Dr.Serxner is awesome. Only setback is his current nurse who does not return patient calls or follow through with the paperwork during checkout time.

My neck surgery was May 3rd; fusing vertebraes 2-6. The results were better than I could have dreamed of! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to work on my spine. Dr Serxner is a genius. I’ll never be able to thank him enough I have to add that his staff were really friendly and supportive . They walked me through the process, always willing to help and have a kind word. Penni Stobbe

After seeing Dr.'s Abumeri, Liker, Chen and others, I finally have surgery planned after five minutes with Dr. Serxner. I immediately felt comfortable with his confidence. I only wish it hadn't taken so long to find him.

Amazing bedside manner. Really took the time to explain options and was a miracle for our family. We saw Dr. Abumeri and he was horrible then when Dr. Serxner came in, he changed our world. Amazing care. This hospital is lucky to have him year after year of absolute horrible neurosurgery.
