I am a 63 year old who is not easily impressed with Specialists, I have seen many. Dr Leramo was Excellent, well spoken and Knowledgeable. He looked over my charts and explained everything in Detail even answering my questions, I had Many. He made me feel very comfortable and after talking with him I Trusted his Sound Judgement. He was correct in pointing out that my neck stenosis was a secondary issue that did not require intervention. He is not Knife Happy, I liked that. My issue is a TIA

I have been doing a run around with doctors for over two years to get my back fixed and Dr. Leramo seems to be the only person to care. He actually allows you to talk, unlike many doctors who have told me how I'm suppose to feel. He has tried everything the other doctors haven't done and seems to actually care. The nurses he has are extremely nice to and if I don't understand both doctor and nurses go out of the way to make sure I understand and tell me how to get things done quickly. Dr. Leramo is a very caring doctor who is very knowledgable and very kind. I would recommend him to anyone just by the sheer fact that he has treated me like a person instead of a patient.

My Wife was treated by Doctor Leramo at San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, Ca. When she was discharged the Doctors orders said to make an appointment to be seen in ten days for a follow up. We tried calling for four days in a row to make an appointment with no luck. Every time we called a different excuse, do not know who you are, are you here for pre surgery, are you here for post surgery, the computer is down, the girl who makes the appointments is busy try calling back in a couple of days. Finally we had the hospital fax her info over to them. Then they made an appointment 30 days out, not following what the doctor’s orders said. I was horrified at how badly I was treated by their staff members and lack of patient concern. It made me lose a lot of respect for them. It is really frustrating and really unprofessional in my opinion. Fortunately my wife is doing ok in spite of Dr. Leramo and his staff. We never had a follow up with the doctor.

DR. LERAMO GAVE ME A 2ND OPINION THAT IN MY EYES SAVED MY DADS LIFE, THE OTHER NEUROSURGEON DIDNT RECCOMEND ANYTHING ELSE, JUST A 2ND CRANIOTOMY WHICH COULD HAVE KILLED MY DAD, DR LERAMO GAVE ME MORE INFORMATION AND CHOICES..VERY CARING AND COMPASSIONATE, THE OTHER NEURO SURGEON WAS NOT.
