Robin Matuk's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Matuk has a dry sense of humor. He is very thorough and explains everything in detail. He is no nonsense but I like that. It is hard to get into him though. I was told by the E.R doctor to call my Gastro as soon as I got home do to Endo Colitis. When I called I explained this was requested by the E.R. doctor. The staff said the only opening is in February. I was hoping there was a cancellation list or something. What if I had had complications or a worsening of my condition? Was Dr Matuk informed of me and what happened? If not, that scares me a bit. That means office staff is making medical decisions. SCARY! For this I take 1 star As for Kayla, I have to agree to her curt and rude behavior. Not a pleasant person to deal with. For this I take 1 star. I hope this is read by the appropriate staff. But again, Dr Matuk ROCKS!!

My husband and I are very satisfied with Dr.Matuk, he's very kind, listen to questions and always in a good professional mood, and tanks to all staff members.

I went see Dr Matuk and my visit was really nice. All of the staff was friendly.The office was clean. He seemed interested in what I was saying as I described my symptoms. Plus I didn't have to sit in the office forever waiting to be seen like my last Gastro Doc. I'll be going back!

Dr. Matuk is a great doctor but making follow up appointments is a bear. No authorization even tho authorization for original procedures. Called 3times and can't get one appointment for follow-up on colonoscopy and endoscopy so assuming they were fine. Appointments were ion august 31 and September 23,2022. Tried again today, Nov. 2, 2022 with no luck. He is a good doctor that I would highly recommend. ...

Good doctor , just hard to get an appointment

With the awesome reputation Dr. Matuk has its really to bad Kayla is so rude and short. Between her short, snappy, answers, and her downright rudeness, I may have been able to tell her the situation, but instead I was refused an appointment. I have a approved Auth to see this doctor and was still refused an appointment. I am appalled that Kayla is allowed to act and talk to patients the way she does. This makes the entire office look bad.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to take a moment and write a review for this …. Dr. Matuk is a good Dr. No complaints when it comes to him. But his office staff is horrible. Especially Kayla. She’s short, rude, condescending, and speaks to people with annoyance. Going to see a gastro Dr. is never an easy thing, let alone any Dr…… I hope Kayla reads this review and moves forward with her job duties learning to be patient and kind to people. Especially sick people who are seeing a specialist Dr. for help. ❤️✌🏼 UPDATE: Right after posting my review, I was contacted by Dr. Matuk’s office staff. I spoke to another woman who was very kind and compassionate towards my medical issue. She took her time with me and explained some protocols. I’ve changed my review from a one star, to four stars. Still not a five star review because of Kayla. I was pleased the office contacted me and did their best to make the situation right. ❤️

Long time to wait, getting appointment and followup, and office visit, but very thorough, and that's what's important!

Very satisfied. I arrived five minutes early with all the items the office had requested when I made my appointment and was seen by Dr. Matuk within six minutes (no waiting for hours). Dr. Matuk was very professional, knowledgable and most of all he listened to me. After having all of my concerns addressed I was on my way!

I've read a lot of these other reviews and I'm not seeing the same issues. First of all, the lady that complained about the signs that asked you to not bring your children, if you absolutely have to then you have to. They are just asking you to not if you are able to have someone else watch them. It makes total sense to me that they don't want a bunch of kids running around when you have the majority of elderly patients and those who are in discomfort. They've been very communicative with me and send me my instructions packet twice upon request. Dr.Matuk was great as well. Called me personally and went over my results. I would recommend this Dr and his staff.
