Dr Nelson is amazing. He's talks to you explains what he's gonna do and options. I felt very comfortable talking to him. I recommend him. I had an ingrown toe nail.

I was nervous to see a doctor for my foot issues, but this place is just awesome. The young lady in the front is super nice and welcoming. Dr.Nelson is so nice and listens to your concerns and answers your questions. He didn't make me feel rushed but took his time to make sure I understood everything. He is very welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable. I recommend this place to any one looking for a podiatrist for you foot care needs !

I would definitely recommend Dr. Nelson. He is pleasant and informative. He takes his time to explain what your issues are and how he plans to correct your problem. Originally I was going to go to a doctor that advertises on tv a lot, however after reading the reviews on Yelp I elected to go to Dr. Nelson. You cannot go wrong having your foot issues resolved by this doctor.

Dr. Nelson is a very caring physician. He’s old school and really listens to your issues and has your pain and best interest at heart. Very easy to talk to. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! Surgery toenail removal went smooth, easy!! Dr. Nelson is very extremely knowledgeable about what he does, he makes sure to make it easy for you and not hurt you. Has been doing it for 40 years! He even explains to you how to cut your toenails the proper way and some tips to prevent it for next time. Answered all my questions. Explains everything step by step to you, so you understand what you’re doing. Process took no longer than 15 minutes!! Will definitely be back if needed to Dr. Nelson!

Dr Nelson was very nice when I met him 5 years ago. However his front desk lied, sent me to collections and charged me for an injection I never received. Tried to talk to Elena the front staff about it but she was rude, didn’t let me get a word in and actually hung up on me. She said they had proof I went In and my Id, signature and insurance card matched. At the time they said I got an injection I had already moved out of Bakersfield and had a different job w a different insurance. I was also at a nursing training 2.5 hours away. I tried to tell Elena but she did not let me speak. I contacted the FTC and luckily I no longer have to pay. However it was a long grueling process. Just warning anyone else of this scam Elena is pulling.
