List of Amit Shah's Reviews
AWFUL staff I would negative stars if I could. Absolutely unprofessional. They will say awful things about you right in front of your face thinking you can't hear them. Whole receptionist team needs to go. They clearly do not appreciate their job.
I recently started taking my uncle, because I heard good things about Dr Shah! My uncle went in with a stomach infection gave antibiotics all is clear now with that. However my uncle since is withering away he was at 265 and weight now is 225 my uncle can barely walk and the Dr's only concern is that he needs a colonoscopy not the fact that he could barely walk and that his weight dropped so much within a few months!!! He just wants my uncle in and out!! No good bedside manners at all very disappointed with this experience!! I've had to restart all over again with another Dr!!!
Dr. Shah is a good doctor, very caring, thorough, and professional. I wish I could say something positive regarding the office staff! I have requested refills on medications several times, and the girls fail to follow-up with the pharmacy. At times, they were going to call me and NOTHING! I wish his old staff was still with him!
Dr. Shah and his staff are amazing. They are all friendly and helpful and Dr. Shah has been the best at managing our health.
I want to thank Dr. Amit Shah for taking time to figure out what's going on with me. My son went with me yesterday and it was literally over an hour he sat with us and explained the problems and illness that was causing so many issues with me. For the past week I've been struggling and suffering with "Serotonin Syndrome". It's fatal if not treated promptly. Dr. Shah always listens and slowly but surely figures the problem out and fixes it! I may get frustrated at times but it's no fault of his! I had a paralytic ileus because of all this (no stomach movement), he took everything step by step and addressed every last thing regardless if it seemed minor. Every muscle in my body was locking, freezing, unable to move. I was drenched in sweat for a two weeks straight. I will be ok in a few days, and its because of the care and compassion he shows his patients. Dr. Shah is a true blessing to our community. I wish I could do something to show him my gratitude. He does this all with a great attitude, he is kind, always in a good mood, he listens, he always has a positive attitude which in my opinion promotes healing. Thank God for Dr. Amit Shah. He treats my entire family and we all love and appreciate him.
Dr. Amit N Shah cares about patients. He is one of the few doctors that takes his time and actually listens. I have always been treated with respect and kindness. He is willing to explore an issue without simply ignoring a patient's symptoms. I lost two friends this year due to Bakersfield doctors that didn't take my friends' symptoms seriously. Dr. Shah ALWAYS takes symptoms seriously and will order the necessary tests to discover the root cause of those symptoms. It is difficult to get an appointment when sick, but that is simply because he is extremely busy because patients love his bedside manners. I recommended him to my sister, brother-in-law, husband, son, and daughter-in-law, and they all love Dr. Shah. He simply cares about his patients. He is the only doctor I trust with the lives of my beloved family members.
Very caring
Wow,I thought it was just me .I guess he takes his hangovers on His staff and patients.I had always thought highly of Dr Shah. But when he raised his voice at me and told me that he was tired if playing games.either I was going to get my diabetes under control or not. Diabetes is a VERY hard thing to control.even though I try But I was really shocked of the way he treated me that day.
Dr. Shah is a rude inconsiderate Dr. This office has issues with helping it's patients with anything, the girls in the back office are rude and nasty. This office never returns your phone calls, you can call 5 times a day and your calls are not returned. This office is an office of incompetent fools, including the Dr.
Excellent Doctor, rude receptionist!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
