Araceli Castanares's Online Review Report Card

Worst customer service ever. No one ever gets the information right, always new office staff. Today I call and I’m told one thing and then when I call back I get the officer manager and he starts yelling at me. He ends up telling me I have an attitude problem when he is the one yelling at me. He told me if I’m having a problem with his customer service I can go somewhere else. The doctor I’m sure is not aware of the managers behavior. I’m just grateful my family member has moved and won’t need to go back again. Dr is a sweetheart, that’s why I gave it 1 star. Just sad she doesn’t have better office staff.

Next time have better service and know how to treat patients and if ur going to talk had about people close your door !!! Yeah I tested positive for covid , a month ago and you guys made me feel horrible for seeking medication NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO THERE !! “ it’s people like this that covid gets spread “very professional

They don’t know how to treat their patients with respect instead they raised there voice at me in front of others very unprofessional I’d give 0 stars

One of the best, most thorough doctors in Bakersfield. You will wait to see her but it will be worth it.She leaves no stone unturned.

Been going to Dr. Castanares for years but it’s time to find myself another doctor with better staff... she used to have good employees ... but they ended up leaving elsewhere I’m sure, now the 2 that she has are just incompetent they never know what there doing and my health is important... sorry Dr. Castanares I wish you the best

Dr. Castanares might be a good doctor, but her staff in the other hand are just dumb and rude .. wait time? Just ridiculous ... phone time/hold time is ridiculous too! Waste of an office

I have nothing but good thoughts of Doctor Castanares, she is easy  to  talk with and  goes over your test results  thoroughly and always works toward getting  you the help you need to get well..However!! I feel she does not have an office staff that represent her for the doctor she is.  They are rude, make mistakes   that can effect your health by giving wrong prescriptions or they don 't bother to have them filled..  They do not schedule appointmentsin a timely manner... I have always had long waiting periods...the longest with finishing up was 4 1/2 hours and I was  so frustrated it made me sick...  I find her office staff highly incompetent which makes a wonderfuldoctor look bad and it is their responsibility to make her shine..She needs to replace them with a organized  competent  staff and her ratings will go up to where they need to be....

She is very friendly and listens to you. I am not used to having a doctor who spends more than 5-10 minutes with me. She seems to care about her patients I would really recommend her.

Dr. Castanares has been my doctor for 15 years. She is a wonderful doctor who cares about her patients and doesn't rush you through a visit. Sure, the time in the waiting room can be lengthy but worth it (in my opinion) because when it's my turn, she takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I have.It can be frustrating trying to get an appointment because the office does get a lot of calls and I sometimes get put on hold for a long time. But when this happens, I just hang up and call back and let the person know I was already on hold for a long time. Dealing with hold times is not that much of an issue with me when I consider the quality service I receive from Dr. Castanares during my visit.
