Dr. Emad F Shafic goes up and beyond to make sure each one of my children are well taken care of with their health and personal care. Not only does hear my concerns as a parent but reaches out to each child with warm inviting spirit and conversation. Doctors these days are not passionate but systematic. Doctor Shafic is the best and we Miss him as we are now in San Diego. We have been with him 15 years, when we visit sure to stop by.

I have been taking my girls here since I moved to Bakersfield 7+ yrs and I love this doctor and the staff they listen to any concerns they are ontop of your child’s health I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else my girls look happy and comfortable going to his office and if my daughter is sick I can go in as a walk-in overall this is the best place

If I could give zero stars I would. I never post reviews of Doctors because I firmly believe there is a Doctor for everyone. When we attended our establishing care appointment at this office and a physical and yearly apt for my 8 year old there was no hearing or vision check, there were no questions from the doctor. Zero instructions. I had never been to a pediatricians office that spent literally less than 5 minutes in the room with you for a yearly physical appt. I made the decision to take my children to a different office. Then I get a bill from Dr. Emads office and I am being charged for vision screening, hearing screening, fluoride treatment, and behavior and nutrition information! NONE of that was done. None of it. I kindly called the billing office and got it all taken care of and paid for what I did have done and then I get a call from the Doctor himself. He didn’t want to hear what I had to say. He kept cutting me off and then starts reading my child’s chart which is the paperwork I filled out. He then said, there is no way we did a physical without hearing and vision screening and I asked him if he is calling me a liar! He was extremely rude and if you care about your children’s care and don’t want to be overcharged or insurance fraud I would avoid at all cost!

Absolutely love Dr Shafic and his staff I have been bringing my kids to him for about 15 years and I have always been pleased with his care for my children. I took my kids to him at the office he had before this one and followed when he moved. The current office al well as the one before were always well kept and clean.

I have been with Dr Shafic for 9 years now. All 3 of my kids are alive and healthy because Of this practice and Dr. Shafic. I am usually always able to get a same day appointment and the Dr. & staff are so professional.
