A wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.
My love one was in this facility and I experienced the doctor that called me about my love one he was rude and insensitive to the patient and inconsiderate to the families beliefs and final wishes into their beliefs and practice. Can they be more considerate and sensitive?Doctors should be direct but in a more sensitive manner because when the family has an ill loved one this is a sensitive matter to them. The doctor don't really care because its their job and not their loved one. It's more about Medicine & money to Doctors, not about human life that ended and families are hurting. Also you shouldn't put the families loved one in a body bag until the family has view the deceased. That was insensitive and unprofessional with disheartening memories. We had four hours for the body to be removed. The practice of Medicine has less compassion for life let alone the deceased.
Poor care for patients. Major neglect of basic care, like baths. This place has staff willing to lie about patient care.
Any medical facility is going to have good & bad. My husband experienced both at this facility, but the good outweighed the bad, and I would recommend this facility to friends and family should they need to be in a long term acute care facility. The start of my husband's hospitalization was a bit rough- they didn't have any pillows for him for a full 24 hours- boggles my mind. So he wasn't repositioned for all that time and my husband did develop a few small pressure ulcers from lack of repositioning from the first week or so that he was there. It would sometimes take a very long time to get help for him to get cleaned up as well. I would bring up health issues/concerns with nurses and some were very good at following through with doctors, and some were not. When I asked the nurses for the doctors to call me so that I could speak to them about my husband's condition it rarely happened. Eventually, by being at my husband's bedside every day, I got to know the doctors in person and was able to talk to them directly which was helpful for my husband's care. Dr. Stephen Chen was especially helpful, friendly and receptive, I was happy he was managing my husband's care.Having said all that, some staff really went above and beyond and I did feel that overall the staff truly cared for their patients. The biggest stand out was Letty C. the physical therapist. She was pretty amazing and got my husband to do things I haven't seen him do in years. She taught me what to do at home to help his progress and life at home is much more vibrant now! Thank you Letty! She's a gem at that facility. Raymond, the personal relations person and Linda the unit manager really listened to my concerns and I saw that they really did try to improve the issues that came up for my husband's care. I do appreciate that. And the bedside staff - Quinta, Bridgette, Melissa, ICU nurse Doris, Amelia, Jorge, Trisha, Gerardo, and more... friendly, helpful & truly caring staff. Even the cleaning staff like Gloria would be so welcoming and friendly. Most of the RT's were nice too, I think I only had a tough time with an RT "J" ... but the rest were great, Ron, Erik, Asanka, & Gerry helped a lot with getting my husband weaned off the vent and home! Oh, and the case manager Gretta, she really worked a lot to not delay my husband's discharge and get him home. Thank you to all the staff (mentioned and not mentioned, sorry, I did forget some names) who helped my husband recuperate and come home, God bless you :)
Yes…I’d definitely recommend anyone to get care like my mother has received by the staff all around. Thanks to Ray who’s always making sure my mother and I always smile with our long distance FaceTime. Thanks again to all the staff.
Letty Castillo at Kindred Hospital Rehab is great. She has been making progress with my wife after her accident by stimulating and working her legs. My wife is slowly moving her leg as a result. She is very kind and knowledgable about rehab.
I will not forget my experience during my confinement at Kindred hospital in Baldwin Park. A staff unintentionally broke my new boombox during serving breakfast . It was an accident though, but I felt sorry for myself for not using my boombox for spiritual meditation. It was a gift to me by a friend. When my friend knew of what happened to my listening gadget, She called the hospital and requested for replacement. They understood my loss, and after a week I did received a new one. Thank you Kindred Hospital of Baldwin Park. God bless you all.
My experience in Kindred hospital in Baldwin park is worth saying that the medical staff, nurses were all friendly with me. I may have some issues with other patients, but I just wipe it away. I am now in another home to continue my care but kindred is a name for nice thoughts..
I have been sick bad with impaired mobility and covid for almost a month . eventually I got well attended by good doctors, nurses , and therapist who made me work hard to finally go home. This is Kindred hospital I owe much. Thank you.
This hospital Is clean and organized. The physical therapy program has helped my husband walk again. Special thank you to the physical therapist Letty C. in particular. She was always checking in and making sure he was okay when I wasn’t there. I appreciate her. She is patient, motivating, and genuinely cares about her patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
