Went to her once and that was enough. Prescribed the wrong medication and after I picked it up it was ‘oh sorry that wasn’t supposed to have been sent’ $140. later. Didn’t prescribe my normal medications. My doctor of 30+ years had retired was my only reason for being there. Never again!

Very friendly. Makes time to listen. I got my referrals the next dsy!

I suffered 16 months, saw four different doctors and Dr. Skelton found the cause. I am now completely healed and feel normal. Dr. Skelton is amazing and I am so happy that I found her. Thank you, Dr. Skelton

Dr. Skelton, while kind, is not a doctor that I will return to. She does not listen & is quick to brush off symptoms with simple solutions, even if those symptoms have been ongoing and the "simple" solutions have been attempted. Additionally, she is far too "casual" in her setting. When I visited I was told my clothes were the reason for my symptoms (which has already been ruled out by a different doctor) and told that my I didn't need to "dress for my husband," which also was absolutely not true - I was wearing shorts & a t-shirt that day. Regardless of what I was wearing, her clothes were dirty and she seemed like she didn't want to be there. I know we all have bad days but this was not the confidence I needed. I returned to her once out of necessity & even that visit didn't go great. I am finding a new OBGYN currently.

Late review but I wouldn't come back to this lady if you paid me. I was having my third c-section and she did not want to schedule me to be induced. When I went into labor everyone at Barstow hospital already knew her and would make faces when I would bring her up. The nurses even wondered why she would want me to go into labor "naturally" being it's my third cesarean. Luckily I went into labor safely on my own and she wasn't available to deliver my baby. THANK GOD. Pregnancy is hard enough, combine that with a doctor who has been in the field for decades who just doesn't give a f. She was so unpleasant to go to I would have rather been seen by a blind monkey. She never explained anything or showed any concern about ANYTHING. I do not know how or why this woman is still in business. Go anywhere else but here.

I had a Pap smear here back in December and I don't know I didn't think to leave a review sooner. I have never had a Pap smear where the doctor didn't tell me what they were doing or say anything to me really at all during the whole exam. (Side note, This was all just to refill my birth control) I didn't know what was happening down there but it was very painful. The following day I had an antibiotic prescribed to me without being told what it was for or what was wrong with me, and then the following day a birth control I've never used was prescribed to me. I called the office and told them I didn't want to change birth control because we didn't discuss that, she said "it's basically the same, you can just take that one" I said I wanted what I asked for in the office and I wouldn't be taking anything else, I've been on it for 3 years. she agreed to change it but I was left wondering if it would be filled before I ran out because it was almost impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office. THEN I was charged $400 for that Pap smear because she sent it to a lab that was out of network with my insurance. She tested me for things that I could have told her I didn't have if she had asked me about any of my sexual history or anything like that. I'm just super disappointed in this care, I feel violated to put it simply. I'm terrified of getting another Pap done, I never had much of a problem doing it before, but this was a TERRIBLE experience. I will never be back.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Skelton since 2017. Since going to her I don’t want to ever have to go anywhere else. She’s a great doctor!
