I went, paid $1300.00 to no avail. The sit-in MRI was not clear and couldn’t be used. Eventually I had to be fully sedated at Memorial Hospital to get a clear scan. I was called a month by someone I believe was named Marie or Maria. She said she would see if she could get a partial refund. I waited…. and waited. I called back weekly and left a message each time. Never received any call. I’m retired and a hope for any refund would have helped I had my back surgery yesterday. DO NOT GO TO EXPERT MRI
I had an MRI done this morning. I was so scared. I was crying. Brianna put me at ease. She stayed with me . She made me comfortable. There were two other techs but I can't remember their names. They were just as amazing. Thank you all. I'm sorry I was a mess!!!!!
I was in a bad car accident and needed a MRI. The Bellflower location was so nice and patient with me. The front desk person even helped me fill out my paperwork because the techs were ready to start my MRI upon arrival. The location was clean and very friendly. I will recommend the Bellflower location to all. Thank you for taking great care of me
Traumatized
The reason we chose expert MRI is because my husband has a severe case of claustrophobia. Since this was wide open it looked to be some thing that would be beneficial to him. So we went, and paid $1285 because they don't take insurance, at least Medicare. So we were very excited to get an appointment and have this procedure put behind us. So, we sent the films to the neurosurgeon, who was unable to use them because the quality was so poor. So now my husband has to go and have another MRI under anesthesia at this time.First of all check and see if they take insurance, otherwise you will throw away hundreds of dollars like we just did.
Clinical Director Tahira is extremely unprofessional
Made appointment to pay out of pocket 400 - drove an hour and half Got there they said running two hours late. No call nothing and the response was well sometimes we run late. I’m good no thanks
My appointment was on a Wednesday and when I set my appointment I asked if I was going to get a CD copy of the MRI and the receptionist said I would at the end of the session. I was called into the waiting room and while I was there I heard someone sneezing their brains out about 12 times in the manager/supervisors office. I notified one the technicians and he just shrugged his shoulders! After my session I went to the front office and asked about my copy, they said that they will send the report to my dr. and send me a CD copy in the mail. Whats up with that! I told them that I have an appointment with my spine surgeon on Tuesday and they said that my Dr and I would have the report and CD copy before the appointment. It's the day of my appointment and no CD for me and no report for my Dr. I had to call Expert MRI to have them fax the report while I was in the exam room. I finally got a copy of the CD on Thursday so now I have to set up a new appointment so my Dr can see the images. I've seen the images and they are not good quality images. Very dark and not very clear, the detail is terrible. I've had x-rays and cat scans and see better details in those images. Worst experience at this type of facility in my life. I would not recommend Expert MRI.My appointment was on a Wednesday and when I set my appointment I asked if I was going to get a CD copy of the MRI and the receptionist said I would at the end of the session. The open system was great. Beth did a great job in calming down claustrophobic issues.
Don't waste your time, literally! I was fighting them for 3 wks to try & get an appointment and they kept lying saying they didn't have the authorization which was bullshit because it was approved 2 wks ago & i have had it in my hand for 1 wk. when I was able to speak to a supervisor about finally getting scheduled they say "you're out of network ". Thanks, i could've gotten this done by a competent company by now.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
