Anthony Hadden's Online Review Report Card

Hadden has been my neurosurgeon for around 15 years. He's operated on me at least 4 times for various spinal issues. I trust him with my life, literally. He and his long term staff, particularly Drew his PA and Lisa, his head nurse, have ALWAYS taken care of me and I honestly believe, that he cares about my outcome. Not just the outcome of my surgeries but me as a person. I am a fairly complicated cases with multiple issues not just related to my spine. Even though he doesn't need to, I feel he has taken all my issues into account before proceeding with any procedure. I can't praise him, his knowledge and his staff enough

Dr. Hadden has been arrogant, rude and gives contradictory information. He reffered my husband to Germany to get back surgery, because he wouldn’t do it and wanted my husband get 8 more injections. This was ludicrous and did not help before. In our case, the disc had completely ruptured. Apparently he can’t get the OR booked at St Charles and hasn’t done a surgery in 2 years! We sold our house and went to Germany to get the surgery done. Upon our return and his first appointment with Hadden post surgery. He claimed that he didn’t refer us and told my husband that the disc was placed wrong and He “Hadden” would have to do surgery to fix it in a year! He is the worst doctor and honestly a bit crazy! Doesn’t seem to know what he is talking about. Definitely not putting his patients first.

Probably the best doctor (surgeon) I’ve ever met. I had to undergo an emergency surgery a few weeks ago and Dr. Hadden performed it. Before surgery he and staff were very kind and personable… I went into surgery feeling confident that all would be well! And it was! I was lucky I had no permanent damage after surgery and I attribute that to the excellent care of Dr. Hadden. During post-op visit he even removed my sutures because I was too nervous for anyone else to do it. I’d give ten stars if I could. 😉

He never asked any questions nor did he make any recommendations for any improvements for this broken back. Very poor communication in his office.

After recent MRI's, it was necessary for me to again see a neurosurgeon. I declined to return to the fellow previously referred, so I asked for recommendations. Of 10 professionals (anesthesiologists and attending nurses) Dr Hadden was the the unanimous recommendation.. I've had two appointments and concur!! Jacquie

Dr Hadden fused my neck and replaced the disc ending my severe pain back in 2018. I have had very little pain since. He did a great job and I highly recommend him.

Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Hadden. My husband has seen him over the last 10 years for low back, mid-back & cervical spine issues. He has always discussed treatment options for for each issue and helped us choose the best treatment modality. As a result my husband has had great improvement in his quality of life. Dr. Hadden has great communication skills and is easy to talk to. He has a terrific bedside manner.

Dr Hadden did my back surgery (fusion, replace disk) in 2013. From the minute I woke up from surgery I was pain free (except the normal pain from surgery) and have been pain free ever since. He is a wonderful surgeon and highly recommend him!

Extremely disappointed to be denied an appointment due to EOCCO. Visit o’ked by them but not your office. MRI shows low back bulging disc requiring much Aleve, was very satisfied with previous cervical fusion from your service.
