If I come here without money and no health insurance and no documentation and no identification and no income proof and need tests specifically for my pre-existing heart failure will they still take me in?

In response to Alta Bates's response: Why would I waste more of my time communicating with "patient relations"? What are they going to do? Give me my lost time back? Give me some money? Yeah, right. You guys are a joke. You have lost my business forever because you don't respect peoples' time and your staff made no attempt to rectify the situation. A word of advice: Learn what customer service is. If you can't see someone promptly, let them know. You work for us, not the other way around. Act like it.

This is about Herrick psychiatric facility: I was at this hospital twice over the span of two months this summer. Both times were absolutely miserable. The staff made rude jokes about the patients (especially me). They would say "oh you're here again, what did you do this time" and look at me with disapproval. One of the nurses named Jack made a few particularly awful comment toward me. He said "I bet you wanted to come back, on purpose" and "are you going to make this hard like last time, you know I had nightmares about you." I am so disappointed with how those nurses treated me and everyone else there. I DO NOT recommend.

I saw the appt on MY CHART for Agapito Bagon got Cancelled for October 5 at 2 pm for Dr Chung. I am his Caregiver. Nobody even informed us or call why will they cancel it. THAT IS NOT NICE! VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! All I can say is that Dr Chung and her office team is not dependable and reliable for canceling the appt of my uncle especially he is a Cancer patient. I would give ALTA BATES 0 STAR. NOT EVEN 1 STAR! NO GOOD!!!

Best care around for cancer patients. Staff is kind, not just courteous. Being local helps a lot, too. The lobby and coffee shops are lifesavers, especially if you have mobility issues. Plenty of room to sit down. A pleasant experience all the way around.

therapy groups were probably the best that i've gone to, but the nurses in general were not very understanding and it took a lot of energy reporting symptoms and explaining situations to them. there was basically no interference when people would lash out but for some reason if i was having a panic attack that wasn't chill. like ok.

I was here. it's also a psych ward! Fun. It was fine but CAN WE GET MORE COVERAGE PLEASE?! people(kids) were staring at my arms n legs.

i'm bipolar, with adhd, chronic complex PTSD, social anxiety, developmental issues, with borderline personality disorder so it's really difficult to get a clear read of the place but this is the only hospital that's managed to stabilize me ever in my life. i come here to get helped. everyone is super educated and well informed. they do their best to educate their patients on our disabilities and help us get connected to who we need to so we aren't living in unsafe situations. the quality of care is impeccable! they have the best psychiatrists on their team. if you're worried about abductions or rape, this hospital will watch over you and make sure nothing like that ever happens to you. forget all my other reviews and only look at this one please. dr. markus @ herrick campus alta bates summit @altabatessummit saved my life in june 2023. dr. markus is the only psychiatrist and mental health person i trust. dr.markus is willing to increase my risperadyl to 8mg. dr. markus does not deny me care. dr. markus does not tongue twist me like other transphobic nurses and psychiatrists do in fresno. im really transgender, queer, pansexual, and on the autistic spectrum with multiple dehabilating illnesses including primary brain cancer
