Excellent competent doctor. Very rushed service by assistants. all very nice though
My mother had a colonoscopy with Dr Hosseini MD, which at the time, seemed to go smoothly. Covid precautions and communication were good. However, after the colonoscopy, there was NO communication. I have emailed Mandy D several times asking her to call me, she refused. A month goes by, my mother asks me several times if Dr Hosseini has called with the results, I told her the truth, there was no contact. She assumed this was a good and positive sign, no call means good news. I randomly found a letter in my mother's patient portal that indicated abnormal findings. Heart breaking. Instead of the doctor, I now have to try to read and interpret the patient findings and explain this to her. After I found the letter, I scheduled a telehealth appointment with someone who quickly hung up before I could say thank you.' Initially, I wanted to thank Dr Hosseini. Now, I'm pretty disappointed and worried about how his patients are being cared for. Don't go here, please.
Dr Hosseini continues to rent out his house in San Diego has a vacation rental during the Covid-19 epidemic, violating SD County and California State health ordinances.
Excellent facility. I was cared for and everything was clearly explained. Good procedure, no complications. Thank you!
I wanted some professional/specialist type care around my issues but I was only there 10-15min and was not offered a chance to take a blood test, food sensitivity, or otherwise - only diet advice and some brochures. I was in-network but got a bill for $210... Good/nice staff but it was difficult to get an understanding of cost as they signed me up for various tests and overall felt rushed out of there. I got that large bill and tried to pay online but could not, payment process is bad, they have this buggy portal website you have to use but can't reschedule/cancel appointments or pay bills thru it.
Everyone was friendly and professional. The procedure went as planned and I felt well taken care of.
The people there were all very professional, courteous and warm. The experience was comfortable. They offered to have a family member or a friend to be with you during the recovery from the anesthesia.
When I went in, the doctor did not do an actual examination, just told me that since I'm young and healthy, I am probably fine. The visit probably took less than 60 seconds. My OB-GYN later asked me about the visit, because the medical notes were so incomplete that she was confused. I wouldn't recommend this office.
The Emeryville Endoscopy Center is a very proficient place. My visit for a procedure went off like clock-work. From the front office to the endoscopy rooms, I was treated with warm regard, respect and professionalism. Once I went inside to the endoscopy center, I was given a brief on what to expect and had opportunity to ask questions. I wasn't rushed or hurried. Prior to the procedure, again I was briefed by the attending doctor, nurse and anesthesiologist and given opportunity to ask questions. Everything was well-timed and went off without a hitch. Once done, the doctor spoke with us to explain what was gleaned from the procedure and the follow-on would be. Afterwards, we were escorted to a nearer exit door that led directly to the garage where we parked (for free) and sent off with a warm greeting. It was wonderful to experience the care and compassion from this group of medical professionals from beginning to end.
Great professional organization of nurses and medical doctors

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
