I wanted to write a really honest review because this place has helped me with my skin issues until the very recent visit that still traumatizes me until now. I went in early 2020 to get a series of bbl laser treatments on my face due to using a high percentage retinol that ruined my face. The results were lovely and I was happy that my skin was pretty much back to normal. Fast forward in late 2020, just a couple days before the new year, I decided to come back to get a bbl touch up since there were a few red capillaries coming back. The treatment, that I thought went well (due to peeling and slight burns) was not. My right cheek formed a second degree burn and was told it was superficial and that it would eventually fade. Up until now, the scar is still noticeable. I was offered two microneedling sessions to help the "burn" because it turns out it wasn't really superficial after all and that the laser treatment really did burn my skin. The microneedling was fine but over the span of the treatments and beforehand, I was starting to develop rosacea because of the irritation and burn on my cheek. I was put on antibiotics and rhofade, antibiotics helped but the rhofade made it worse. Eventually on my last visit, it seemed like they were fed up with me and didn't really want to help me anymore since they charged me for a visit when it was them that messed up.

Be warned. There is no patient parking and the recommended adjacent Alta Bates garage is completely full (they do not offer validation either). I arrived early, spent 15 mins looking for on-street parking & was 9 mins late. The doctor wouldn’t see me. This is not a patient-friendly place.

Had an appointment recently with Hillary at the Berkeley location. I was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of different products. I am very happy with my results and look forward to going back!

I was turned around for being 13 minutes late. My visit was scheduled for a mole that has been growing. I have skin cancer history in my family, and this is a stressful, scary situation for me. I had been waiting for this appointment nervously for 2 weeks, and got out of the house 10 minutes late because I have a toddler at home with separation anxiety. I explained all this and what I got was "you would have been seen if you had gotten here on time." I am worried about the lack of empathy in a supposedly medical clinic and would definitely not bring my health concerns to them.

Had been going here for micro needling and very disappointed by my experience. In order to keep their clinic running on time, I was “numbed” for just 7 minutes (and I requested twice that they extend the time) and ended up in excruciating pain and tears during my actual service. They then had to stop the service and reapply the numbing cream for the requisite 20-30 minutes. It’s completely irresponsible for a healthcare provider to provide care in such a haphazard manner just to keep their logistics on track. I’d rather that they had me wait longer but be properly anesthetized than rushed without appropriate anesthesia. I will not return to this clinic. It was not my first time with microneedling and this has never happened to me at another clinic, it is usually a pain free experience

Dr.icecreamwala was very professional as so the young lady in the front. Would def recommend if you need general advice or just a quick check up.
