List of Golden State Dermatology's Reviews
I appreciate the monthly emails about dermatological issues and developments that come from GSD staff, and hence are pertinent to life in my area. I also love the access to specialists in key issues affecting me, rather than pressure to get everything done by one practitioner, regardless of their level of interest in my ski's different challenges
They showed me understanding and true compassion. For that I am forever grateful and thank you again!!
Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, who could ask for more?
I have had a fantastic experience with Dr. Chodsky and Golden State Dermatology!
My Doctor, Claire-Audrey Bayan, deserves 5 stars but Golden State Dermatology needs to dramatically improve is Doctor retention and continuity of care. I give them 3 stars as my most recent Doctor, Dr. Bayan, was really a cut above, the staff are always nice, the office is clean and the appointments are always nearly on time. That said, I was ready to change to another Dermatology Group after being told through multiple semi-annual appointments that the Doctor I was scheduled to see was no longer with the office or the practice. With a family history of melanoma, I want to have continuity of care in my semi-annual visits and not a rotating parade of transient Doctors. My most recent visit was no different but this time the Doctor who saw me, Claire-Audrey Bayan, MD assured me that she was her to say AND she is a definite upgrade over the previous Doctors I saw. She showed a real concern for my well being, was engaging, a good listener and performed a thorough exam. Missing one spot can be deadly and she didn't leave anything to chance. I look forward to being her patient for many years to come and hope that Golden State Dermatology improve their Doctor retention and can hang on to her and provide patients with the continuity of care expected.

Helen Chodsky PA is very meticulous and personable.
Chodsky didn’t ask any history of my skin, didn’t answer any of my questions, Looked at my face for two minutes and said “it’s acne” without listening to my skin concerns. Her solution? “You need to be on a low carb diet?” She never once asked history of what I eat or what kind of diet I’m on. Gave me a testinoin prescription and called it a day. Don’t go here.
Great doctors, aides and staff. Caring, knowledgeable, efficient. Thank you all at GS!
Efficient check in. Friendly staff. In and out promptly

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
