Would not recommend. Avoid if you can, go somewhere else for your healthcare. Urgent care Doctor I saw (Dr Garcia) didn’t care about my issues, just wanted to get me out the door. Was given a referral to a specialist that only accepts paediatric patients (ie children) and I’m an adult. Even tho this is an urgent concern, have not been given an updated referral, so am just here waiting. Also…Impossible to get a primary care visit, currently it’s November and next appointment available is end of Jan.This is consistent with past experiences, for example they didn’t label some specimen collections and didn’t know where each came from and I had to come back to a re-test. Didn’t know what the right swab to use. Basically, cannot get the basics correct. And when I complained, was given a $10 Starbucks voucher and barely an apology. I mean, seriously!
Chaotic.
Went to see Dr. Ghazal Naseri, OD at the Ophthalmology department this morning and had the worse experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. She was rude, unprofessional and insensitive about my medical condition. A medical student was the person who performed the tests (which I am fine with) but he didn’t even get my prescription right. When I called to complain the clinic director Lindsey said she filed a complaint and when I asked for a copy, she said she couldn’t give that to me. When I asked for the bill to be paused until this issue was resolved so I could get a second opinion for my URGENT eye exam, they sent me to a phone number which was disconnected. It is beyond words how unprofessional and unethical this medical business operates. Never in my life I’ve seen anything like it. Do NOT go there!!! Unless you want to feel abused and medically neglected.

It appears they have finally sorted out my medical records and the billing charge has been dropped. I didn't get a direct reply from my complaint. Instead, I got a new email invitation to sign up with the online service. When I did, everything appears correct and the billings show no records. I had already started my search for a new healthcare provider, but it is such a frustrating process that I decided to stay with JMH (for now). I like the doctor I am assigned (based on our interaction to date) and the MyChart web portal is actually pretty nice.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kathryn Malone at her pervious practice, so I was excited to know she was at JMH. I love her sense of humor, the care she gives, and her honesty. She is very easy to speak. Her bed side manner reminds me of a wonderful doctor I worked with. You don't find a doctor that spends that extra time with you. Highly recommend
The barriers to communication are formidable. I spend hours just trying to communicate and often have to give up because I'm unable to continue spending time on it.
I came around 8:10am without an appointment for something too simple to visit an ED. I was in and out in under 45 mins total time including lab and doctor visit. I was notified that its best to make an appointment first.Upon entry, their COVID-19 plan was on point with the questions, tempt, sanitization, and instructions. It was a very efficient process during my experience. It was well organized and I also noted that all staff wore their masks properly and the waiting area was clean. When I went back the MA and doctor were friendly and quick. It was my first time there and the MA and doctor both asked me about my current issue, meds, allergies, vitals, and medical history. When I left, I remember thinking, "that wasn't too bad!". It prevented an ED visit and a trip to my ucsf PCP in SF. I already knew what I needed and I received the prescription with ease and a work excuse. I will definitely go again. Dr. Schamber and her staff were pretty awesome on a day when I felt ill and needed some relief. Thanks guys!!
Great medical service. Use it for urgent care and for all lab and imaging that goes straight to my UCSF doc. Avoids trips to SF. Lots of social distancing and easy parking too.
Highly recommend. Excellent service. Very clean facility. Everyone was so nice and professional. I can’t speak highly enough about the doctor. He immediately put my husband at ease ....very caring and knowledgeable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
