Julie Goo's Online Review Report Card

We picked Julie Goo 20 years ago out of our benefits booklet based on her name.....not knowing she would be the best family doctor for us. She is 100% there for her patients. She has had a big impact on me and my family and we are truly grateful!

I've been going to Dr Goo for years. She is the only doctor who listens and cares about me.

First of all, I am assigned to Dr. Julie Goo, whom I've never been able to even meet once for the past two years, every-time I try to make appointments they always have to schedule me with the N.P (does she every work?) which is fine, but the last visit to NP was to get the referral for my hand specialist because I am in pain. When I went to see the NP, the visit went great, however, the Referral person was "out on break" so they told me and assured me that the person will call me back on the same day to get the referral done. However, she never called, in fact, I've called the next day, guess what, she's on lunch. It was 11:30am. Then again, left a message, she never called back. I called again the next day, she's away from her desk, and the other person took the note and said the same thing. She NEVER CALLED BACK. I called again after two days, and this time, her son was sick she left work early! Things happen and I know I was not been lucky to get a hold of this person, but there's a reason I WENT TO SEE THE NP TO GET THE REFERRAL IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE I REALLY NEED TO GO SEE THE SPECIALIST! I am so upset that now that 2.5 weeks has past and I still can't make appointment for the specialist because this person never completed my referral. I've been to many different practices, never experienced with such unprofessional manner. So disappointing. I work in the industry where I have to deal with clients (happy/upset/angry) but surely, I would never treat anyone so unprofessionally.

Dr. Goo has been my physician since 2011 (and then she became my husbands doctor too). She is a great listener, patient, openminded to alternative health approaches, warm and caring. If Dr. Goo isnt sure about something thats going on with me, then shell refer me to someone elsebut typically I want to do research myself into who Id like to see for X problem. When I come back with the name of that person, Dr. Goo writes up my referral. She is a wonderful person to partner with regarding your health!

Prior to my Drs promotion to Chief Med. Officer in SF,CA, I requested her >> After returning from his Sabbatical, She confirmed his bone infection (sight unseen!) diagnosis which was misdiagnosed by another physician. She has successfully managed my complicated health history, ever since. *****!

Best doctor ever! I've been seeing her for over 8 years. She never rushes through a visit. A very lovely woman & an exceptional doctor.
