Yes, I have only been twice but already I am reaping excellent benefits from the care and herbs I have gotten at John Kokko's Turtle Island. I was referred by an energy healer and I myself am an energy healer as well. The body work that is part of acupuncture treatments seems 'simple' but in fact is complexly refined and powerful. The herbs are helping me detox from a long standing virus. The treatments are emotionally turning my attention towards old beliefs and helping me sit with them for change. I am very grateful to have found this profound place of healing.

Kokko Wellness is a wonderful place. When i have acupuncture, I prefer they follow the treatment with acupuncture as well. Kokko Wellness does that each time. Really helps with the progress of healing. This is based upon my 20 plus years of reaching out to acupuncturists. And the staff is great.

As a retired ballet dancer with a history of chronic pain, I've tried various therapies, and the healing I found here was exceptional beyond measure. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of the aloha spirit I cherished in Maui. John Kokko, the acupuncturist, immediately identified a low energy in my heart - a surprising yet insightful observation. His acupuncture treatment, lasting around 20-30 minutes, was nothing short of miraculous. I felt as if disconnected parts of my body were reuniting, bringing a sense of ease and energy I hadn't felt in years. The experience was enhanced by a massage from James, whose technique seamlessly blended with the acupuncture, further elevating my sense of well-being. Despite being a skeptic of acupuncture initially, this visit completely changed my perspective.
