Lifelong Over 60 Health Center's Online Review Report Card

Yes my doctor left I haven’t been assigned to a new doctor I’m in redraws from Suboxone therapy I haven’t been able to get anyone to order me some more because Dr. Nguyen left and they finally I told him specifically to call it to CVS pharmacy in Greenbrae but of course they couldn’t get that right so they called it in to the Safeway Pharmacy in San Rafael which I knew didn’t have it so I don’t understand how they could be so pathetic and not deal with this I’m in extreme distress from withdrawals I’ve had a call up like 10 times already and when they finally got around to sending a prescription they sent it to the wrong pharmacy. I don’t understand how somebody can be so incompetent and still be a healthcare provider. I need the number to the grievance department. I only go there because they take Medicare and Medi-Cal and I can’t afford a real doctor!

This is one of the worst medical facilities in the Bay Area. They DO NOT honor their mission statement. They are extremely rude to caregivers. They lie about the work they do. You cannot get an appointment when needed. They claim to do home visits but will cancel your appointment one hour before the doctor is due to arrive. They say they listen to the patients but when I requested a new doctor, REQUEST DENIED! When I said don’t send Dr. Pharma they sent her anyway! So if you want good medical care from a doctor who listens to patients and is genuinely concerned for your wellbeing, This is not the place to take your love one. PERIOD........

I have been receiving care at LifeLong Over 60 Health Center since 2014 and have always received excellent care. Everyone from day one has been skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate, kind and patient. The beautiful  folks  who answer the phones and  who check you in at  reception,  the wonderful medical assistants and phlebotomist in the lab, the doctors , PAs and NPs who provide primary care and the doctors who provide acupuncture have been so skilled , kind and helpful.  I've also received excellent eye care at the clinic. This last 6 weeks, I've had an extremely painful condition come up and have been able to get through to the Health Center immediately and get in to see a practitioner on short notice for pain relief and a possible reaction to medication.  When that wasn't possible on another day, I was referred to the LifeLong urgent care clinic nearby where I received immediate excellent care.  When I first started in 2014 there were serious difficulties with the communication and scheduling system;  difficulties with being able to get through to the Health Center and  being able to see any practitioner  outside of regularly scheduled appointments when a  problem arose unexpectedly. This has changed completely.  I'm very grateful to receive my healthcare at Over 60 and hope the practitioners and all who work there  receive the support they need from management and recognition for the excellent job they do.

I have been a member here for years and I am happy to say they have taken very good care of almost all aspects of my medical needs. I cannot recommend Over 60 Health Center highly enough.

I recently started going to LL..I have chronic pain and arthritis. I was prescribed medicine to treat spasms caused by MS..I do not have MS. I asked for a muscle relaxer and they gave me baclofen. I was not diagnosed as having MS and I was told I cant get pain meds because they have to 'go through the evaluation process' - but I was not tested or diagnosed with MS..so why prescribe it? And..My back and neck wereNEVER examined. Im new to the Game, but I dont like this at all. When I asked for a pain management referral - had to ask..I was told I have to wait another month until I see my Dr again - but the law states that while my Dr doesnt have to provide pain meds - if they decline, they are to OFFER a Pain Management referral. I want to complain about this legally. You all are wonderful and provide a good work, Im certain of it, but you did me wrong. Why wouldnt they just give me flexeril? They worry about addiction and give me the deadliest drug they could find..and I dont have MS or spasms. Please tell me how to file a complaint.. Thanks,
