I consulted Dr Goomba in urgent care Berkeley on May 8 2021 for my acute pain in shoulder hands and legs. He took detailed examination and prescribed medicine. He took more than 45 minutes and I am indebted to him for his dedication.

Dr. G was so kind and considerate with my 87 year old mother. We were at the emergency for complications with congenetive heart failure meds and dehydration. He patiently explained everything to her and had a very caring, sympathetic manner. Emergency was completely backed up, but he spent all the time needed for us to understand what was going on and what to do next. He is a great doctor!

I'm a Kaiser patient, but was rushed to Alta Bates for numbness on my left side. Dr. Golomb was kind, caring and competent. When I eventually checked in at Kaiser Hospital, he called me on my cell the next day to see how I was doing. I couldn't believe it!! I wish my medical coverage allowed me to have him as a doctor.

This guy is best. Diagnosed a serious illnes in a friend who left other hopital and nearly died because not diagnosed so Golumb saved. Worked very fast in very busy cirumstanses. Should get medals.

A brilliant and kind man, fairly quiet but has a wonderful sense of humour and is much more sensitive to patients' needs than most emergency doctors. I'm Canadian and have yet to meet any emergency specialist as good as Golumb.

A patient couldn't hope to find a more thorough, compassionate or careful emergency physician, and this doctor really knows his stuff. I've practiced nursing in many EDs and ICUs, and if I were ill, I'd want Golumb to take care of me.
