Alexander D. Ghasem Md's Online Review Report Card

I met with Dr. Alexander D. Ghasem, M.D. at Concentra’s San Vicente clinic for two appointments as a third medical opinion. He was professional, compassionate, and very thorough. At our first visit, he explained that he needed updated imaging before making any recommendations and ordered a new MRI. At the second visit, after reviewing the results, he confirmed what two other specialists had already stated and recommended anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) to relieve my chronic pain. I’ve been suffering from excruciating pain for over three years due to a neck injury during work, and despite multiple medical opinions, my surgery still hasn’t been approved by insurance. The process has been exhausting, but Dr. Ghasem stood out by truly prioritizing patient well-being. I’m grateful for his clear communication, professionalism, and support, and I sincerely hope my surgery is approved soon so I can finally begin to recover.

I just want to start off by saying Dr. Ghasem literally saved me. I'm a nurse and long story short I was someone who had on-and-off back pain for a couple of years. However back in January 2023 I started to notice that my back pain wasn't going away and it was increasingly getting worse day by day. That's when I knew I had to see a doctor. Dr. Ghasem was recommended by another gifted surgeon that I used to work for and when he recommended Dr. Ghasem I immediately knew that Dr. Ghasem has to be amazing at what he does because the other surgeon I used to work for only surrounds himself with the best. So I immediately book my consultation after the recommendation. Upon seeing Dr. Ghasem within a couple of weeks he was able to fix my back and save me from being paralyzed for the rest of my life. Honestly if this review doesn't encourage you to make your next appointment with Dr. Ghasem I don't know what will!!! Anyone who is suffering from back pain please call his office now and to book a consultation.

I was in pretty rough shape when I met Dr. Ghasem, however, the instant he began my course of treatment I knew I was in good hands. He listened, never rushed our appointments, and thoroughly explained how we were going to get me back in shape. I was thrilled with the results of the procedure and felt instant relief from nerve pain when I began to wake up. Spinal surgery is never easy and I knew I had a long recovery in front of me. I was having terrible back pain and was referred to Dr. Ghasem by my primary care doctor. He is absolutely the best. Dr. Ghasem was very kind and knowledgeable, and took the time to hear me out. My surgery went perfectly and I am now pain free. Such an amazing doctor who I trust with my life. I am so thankful for Dr. Ghasem and would highly recommend him to everyone.

Over three weeks ago, when I had a consultation with Dr Ghasem, I thought he had a good bedside manner. But when I left his office, I realized that I had a few other important questions to ask him. His office assured me he would reach out to me. He never did. I also requested a report on my office visit. His office repeatedly over those three weeks assured me that the report would be emailed immediately. After many phone calls to the office reminding the staff about this report, I never received it. I have given up, having lost confidence in this doctor and his staff.
