I am incredibly grateful for my daughter, who was born via surrogate with the help of Dr. Akopians and her team! After trying two other clinics prior to SCRC, I was extremely impressed with Dr. Akopian's knowledge and thoroughness in assessing both my medical history and that of my surrogate. I am incredibly grateful for my daughter, who was born via surrogate with the help of Dr. Akopians and her team! After trying two other clinics before SCRC, I was extremely impressed with Dr. Akopian's knowledge and thoroughness in assessing both my medical history and that of my surrogate. Dr. Akopians address many concerns that other doctors missed, and seemed to be able to adjust the protocol accordingly which resulted in our baby! :)

After a fertility journey my son was born this month with the help of Dr Akopians. Dr Akopians was not only caring but knowledgable. IVF is often an emotional journey with many bumps. I can say that I had a great experience from start to finish. My options were presented in a manner that was digestible and my husband and I felt in control through the process. The availability of advice and discussion was invaluable as we navigated through the process. Our answers were met in a timely and efficient and tender hearted manner. I highly recommend Dr Akopians and the SCRC team!

I came to this office looking to freeze embryos and ultimately pulled out of the process just before surgery. I saw many red flags along the way but I was on a timeline and stupidly moved forward. Red flag 1, a week before ordering meds, I'd still received zero information about the actual process other than the initial consultation. After complaining, I received an information packet that they'd clearly forgotten to give me and was told "information is normally not given because timelines change." Red flags 2-4, I talked to three different members of my clinical team as I was being medicated and having poor results (my fertility went down steeply over the course of being medicated by this team), and was told that I could just try to get pregnant or do an IUI instead of surgery. I had to remind them that I WAS NOT TRYING TO GET PREGNANT I WAS FREEZING EMBRYOS. In the end, I lost thousand on meds and have opted to start over with a new doc. I wish I'd pulled out sooner and listened to my gut but this is fair warning to anyone else. I rarely write reviews, but this is such an emotional, sensitive, and expensive process, I felt it important I share my experience.

I've never written a review on Yelp before but felt compelled to given the wonderful experience that I had with Dr. Akopians and her team. This was my first time going through the process of freezing my eggs and from start to finish she and her team were available to answer any questions that I had. The process can be overwhelming and stressful, but they made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.Her nurse Julia was absolutely amazing- she's super responsive and always made herself available for any questions- even during some moments of panic. She is so calming and extremely knowledgeable which definitely helped during the process.If you decide to see Dr. Akopians for your egg retrieval/IVF you're definitely in good hands- and request her nurse Julia!

From my very 1st appt which was virtual Dr. Akopians made me feel comfortable. I felt assured that her team would handle me with care. Her IVF coordinator Julia is heaven sent. She answered every single time i emailed or called. No question left un-answered.  For me this was a big deal because I am a bit paranoid and an over thinker but she relieved all my stress and concerns!!!. My appointments were quick, very little wait time. Again it was a blessing having Dr. Akopians and her team take care of me.

Dr. Akopians is the best! She is incredibly knowledgeable, informative and caring. She and her staff are on top of everything and there to answer all your questions and concerns. Dr. Akopians will make an overwhelming process feel streamlined and empowering. No point in going anywhere else. Go straight for the best!

Going through IVF is a very emotional and stressful process. Dr. Akopians and her team are so nice they are very compassionate and always checking on me every steps I need it to take. Julia is one of the best nurses in SCRC who works with Dr. Akopians and she was guiding me every step of the way. My first IVF treatment was unsuccessful but I am going to do the second one.I can't thank Dr. Akopians and her team enough and can't say enough good things about my time under their care. Cannot wait to do the second treatment.
