Ami Ben Artzi's Online Review Report Card

Very misleading and didn't following up with a solution. He looked at my nails and the bruise on my abdomen that I was concerned of internal issues and he directed me to a dermatologist. He said he would stay in contact with that doctor and I to resolve this but he didn't. No tested were suggested or done just another charge to have him call. The bruise has to appear from something internal, it has been there for over a year now. He didn't even suggest blood that would have been direction to  help on my on person visit.  It's clear it's all about the money.  I left with no resolution nor advice, other than to see a skin doctor. Why it appeared in the first place should be the first concern.

Dr. seems educated but office and Dr. seem very money hungry. Did not feel comfortable going back after my initial appointment

Very caring dr found out I had lupus and the dr took really good care of me and now 10 years later still dealing with the same dr he takes good care of me as I was one of his own children

Dr. Ben-Artzi is my idea of a real doctor. He calls when you're in pain, and believe me, with arthritis of any kind, you are in pain. He monitors you and his nurse, Vicky is terrific. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Ben-Artzi.

I've seen him a few times. He even gives his his personal Cell for emergency's without you asking. I think that's very telling. I'm very happy with him and would hardily recommend him.

Absolutely one of the top doctors in this whole area. If you want a younger doctor with an old soul and a great big heart I suggest you go to see Dr. Ben-Artzi. He is one of the few doctors that will treat an older person, who has Medicare, the same way he would treat patient or someone who is famous. Besides being a brilliant doctor he is kind, caring and takes complete 100% interest in your problems.

One of the best doctors around.  He has always handled my problems with extreme kindness and Professionalism. His assistant Vicki is fantastic.  She is caring, bright and always there to help. If anyone reading this looking for a good rheumatologist I highly highly recommend Dr. Ben-Artzi.

I cannot recommend this doctor. After spending over an hour discussing with his front desk that I had reached the out of pocket max for the year on my Blue Cross plan (I even showed them on the official iPhone app), it wasn't enough proof for them and I still had to pay the co-pay up front. Every single other doctor I've seen (in both the Cedars network and UCLA) has taken my word when I told them this and believed me, but this is the only group who did not and wanted additional proof. Turns out I was right like I promised them, I had to then call their billing department and hunt down a refund and have a check sent in the mail. The billing department apologized for their handling of this, but I'm very unimpressed. Definitely not a good first impression for a doctor (the Dr. himself agreed with the front desk at the time not to trust me either). Every other top tier physician I've seen in Beverly Hills, etc took my word for it and therefore no refunds had to be tracked down.As for the care itself.. he pretty much dismissed my condition because although it was autoimmune, it was only localized to a certain part of my body and not a "systemic" condition in the full body.. so all of this was really a waste of time anyways. I'll be seeking a second opinion and hope the next doctor runs a smoother operation.
