Beverly Tower Womens Center's Online Review Report Card

I book an appointment for my mom from red net customer service phone numbers first in Burbank location (canceled 2 times) and then Glendale location ( canceled 2 times) for bon density due to lack of Technician (imagine waiting 3 months then 2 days prior they canceled each time.  Finally, I got my moms appointment from Beverly center everything was perfect on time front desk were nice helpful and technician was also very caring and nice they did what was expected, BUT since I went there I have scam calls on my cellphone. I have 2 phone numbers and this is not a coincidence which I never give it to outsources except family members this time I mistakenly gave them my main cellphone number and since then I have calls for pain management asking my mom name and calling 2-3 times daily. Its almost 5+ months. This review is for system security and data security if this  center lacks or rednet lacks of it. All they want this scammer are to charge the insurances for elderly ppl. Please consider this review to do sth regarding our information security, probably they hack their system and no one knows. As this is my concern and not sure how to ask about data security I am asking the IT department to check their servers and they probably might found the malicious activities.

I'm not sure if there's a way to comment on pictures or not but after looking at the 11 pictures, I have a few comments.1. Pictures 4 and 6 appear to be the same person, not two different people.2. I've been to this site and I'm about 95% certain there's a sign that clearly states NOT to take pictures.  3. My privacy is important! I don't want my medical information shared online and I don't want my picture taken while I'm waiting to receive medical care. 4. I'm appalled someone would think they have the right to take pictures of anyone in a doctor's office, lab or any other location where medical services are provided. Yelp needs to check their policies regarding privacy rights!5. I came here for my mammogram during the height of the pandemic and no one, let me repeat - NO ONE went without a mask while helping me or from what I could tell, near anyone else. Personally I'm GRATEFUL that they worked so hard to remain open and provide care to me and others who needed them.Don't forget - they were putting their own lives at risk! 6. I have to wear a mask at work and you can bet I take breather breaks when I'm not close to anyone else. AND, when my asthma is acting up, I can't wear a mask.  Kindness and Decency go a long ways in this world - Before we decide to blast someone or "call them out", try to think of where they may be coming from. Kindness and Decency go a long way

This place has called, texted and emailed several times for an appointment, that due to insurance I don't have the luxury of just scheduling with out a referral. I got 6 messages in three days and probably 15 in three weeks; asked to be removed and got two more text messages the next day. The office staff when I called a second time was so unprofessional, lied about being the manager and didn't put my call all the way on hold so I could hear them talking.

I have been here twice. Once in 2018 and again 2022. Both experiences have been great. Staff is efficient and friendly. I had an authorization from my doctor. Filled out the proper paper work and uploaded it to their portal before my appointment which made the whole process quick. I was in and out in less than an hour. The tech that did my mammogram was patient and kind. No complaints here! :)

Such a pleasant experience! I don't understand the negative reviews and to be honest I was a little worried coming here based off of what was being said but I was pleasantly surprised by the quickness, cleanliness and kindness

Terrible place that epitomises what is wrong with the healthcare system in this country. I was turned away twice- first time because my authorization was from my gynaecologist not my primary care doctor. So,  I scheduled an appointment with primary care, got the authorization and booked another appointment- two months out for Feb 2022. Over the phone I was told that the authorization from the gynaecologist (which also included an ultrasound,) was valid. In January I got a different primary care doctor (same insurance group and number) so by the appointment time , it had changed.  On that basis I was rejected again- but here's the kicker. The curt receptonist told me "It's my job to figure out who's going to pay for this." No interest in women getting screened for cancer- just how they re getting paid. That's all I have to say.

I am livid. They cancelled my appointment back in November 2021. It took me until March 2022 to get my next appointment. They once again cancelled my appointment. I finally get myMammogram done and their doctor, Omid Bendavid, tells me-via his nurse- i need to come back to have more images done but won't give me 2 minutes of his time to tell me why. Mind you i had a biopsy done one year ago and a mother who recently died of Breast cancer. Thanks for being a compassionate doctor and taking a few minutes to explain why i need to come back!  So disgusted with this place and the doctor!!

I have been coming to this facility for the last couple of years.   I will be leaving this facility.  The inept and incompetent personnel in their accounts department leave me speechless.  They have one job and could not grasp how important it is to input medical information correctly. Because of their incompetence my visit last year for a mammogram was not paid by my medical service provider and now I have two collections on my credit report!  I am beyond angry.  This is unacceptable and now I have to clean up their mess!  Get your act together!!

They told me repeatedly that I didn't have breast cancer. After I demanded a biopsy, It came back positive for cancer. There is no shortage of good doctors. And if medi-cal tries to send you there, tell them to give you more options to choose from. Beverly Womens Center with their inept staff almost cost me my life. I ended up having surgery. If I had listened to BWT and ignored the lump I may not Be alive to type this right now. Let that sink in before you feel like you have no options. You do. And the best decision I made was to complain to medi-cal (this is where a lot of medi-cal patients end up because it's cheap) and go to another doctor after being told 3x at BWT that I didn't have cancer.
