List of Brian Boxer Wachler's Reviews
Waisted $8000 of my hard earned money I’ve been saving for 4 years just for this ibrite procedure, to reverse my red eyes paranoia. I was promised it’ll work perfectly but saw zero results. Now am back to how I was, 8k to the drain. Furthermore, they gave me medication that were 5 month about to expire. What kind of reputable place like this does that. Great doctor and procedure by the way. It was a painless procedure.
My experience was really amazing as a 14 year old I thought it would hurt or it would be scary but during the procedure I mostly did not feel a thing because they put numbing drops in your eye so you can not feel anything. So thank you Dr. Boxer Wachler for making me see a lot better and can't wait to see how my eyes are for the rest of my life
I was diagnosed with Keratoconus about 15 years ago, when I was 21 years old. My optometrist, not really knowing the issue, referred me to a local ophthalmologist, who soon identified the condition. Within a year, my vision deteriorated significantly, being near legally blind in one eye after seeing about 20/30 uncorrected a year before. The doctor recommended the Intacs procedure, which I did, and had to re-do about a year later to try and improve results. The disease seemed stable for a short time, but over the next several years it continued to worsen considerably. Eventually, around 2019, the Doctor told me a corneal transplant was my only option and my vision wasn’t otherwise correctable. For me, being in my mid-30s, this wasn’t a viable option because the lengthy recovery and chance of rejection would likely cost me my career and I wasn’t ready to accept that yet. For the first time in a decade, I sought another opinion and learned of Dr. Boxer Wachler’s work and reputation after a bunch of research. After a consultation in early 2021, Dr. Boxer Wachler was optimistic he could save, and improve, my vision using various procedures not offered to me before by other ophthalmologists. During the summer of 2021, Dr. Boxer Wachler performed his Holcomb C3R corneal crosslinking procedure on my eyes, as well as the Fortified CK and Intacs procedures. All of this was done in one session and the recovery was a breeze compared to previous procedures I had done. Over the next 10 months my vision improved and stabilized - even to the point Doctor Boxer Wachler said I was now a candidate for the Visian ICL procedure in my “bad” eye, which at one point was nearly 20/200. We never thought the ICL would ever be an option given how poor my vision was going Into the procedures, but my results exceeded our expectations. I did the Visian ICL procedure 3 months ago and that same 20/200 eye is now seeing 20/40 - and can even be improved beyond that with glasses or traditional soft contacts if I want. The results with Doctor Boxer Wachler has far exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled with what he has accomplished. I believe he truly saved my vision, and maybe my career, when other well-regarded ophthalmologists had delivered little corrective procedure options beyond a risky transplant. I am very thankful and would highly recommend Dr. Boxer Wachler.
Dr. Brain Boxer is the best! I've just recently gotten my Visian ICL surgery, and the surgery went great! There was pain or inconveniences. I haven't been able to see since I was 7, I had to wear glasses and I've been wearing contacts since I was 13. I lost my vision at a young age due to spinal meningitis. I've always been told that I will never be able to see with 20/20 vision and I couldn't get Lasik due to my eyes being so bad. I finally found Dr. Brian at the age of 46 with the hopes of him being able to help me. I was recommended for the Visian ICL surgery by Dr. Brian during my first appointment, I was so excited to know there was something out there to help me. During the procedure I was completely awake yet felt no pain. Dr. Brian and his team made me feel very comfortable throughout everything. He was so thorough when explaining the plans and answered any questions. My vision is amazing now, I couldn't have had a better experience! He and his team were delightful! I highly recommend Dr. Brain Boxer for any eye complications!
I have been having a lot of trouble with chronic corneal abrasions caused by extremely dry eyes from an eye surgery I had done in 2011 that I really didn't need. I was told by numerous ophthalmologist that I needed to have another eye surgery. You can imagine my hesitation. So I went to Dr. Boxer Wachler for his medical opinion. Dr. Boxer Wachler told me I didn't need surgery and instead had a remedy he preformed in his office. I can't thank Dr Boxer Wachler enough for caring enough to help me out of pain and for not having to undergo another unnecessary eye surgery. I have the utmost respect and trust in Dr. Boxer Wachler.
Dr. Broxer Wachler performed lasik surgery on both my eyes and I couldn't be happier with the results. Also, Dr. Brian and his staff are incredibly accommodating and put me at ease through every step of the process. The whole experience was first class. I give this office my highest recommendation.
After wearing contact lenses for 30 years I finally got Lasik - which was life changing. But as I aged, I started to need reading glasses. And guess what? Dr Brian has a procedure for that - even after Lasik. I had the procedure and I no longer need reading glasses. It’s quite the modern day miracle. I’m very happy with results.
Amazing
Dr. Boxer Wachler is the best eye doctor!!! I had the WhiterEyes procedure because I’m 61 and my eyes were so red from growing up in Hawaii and never wearing sunglasses. I never knew my eyes could be white again after having red eyes for so long. The procedure was painless, quick and easy recovery. No pain. Before the procedure I looked tired and drunk or high. I felt very self conscious. My eyes are so bright and I look much younger. He’s very professional, patient and he has an office awesome staff! He’ll be my eye doctor forever. I highly recommend him!
He destroyed my vision. He talked me into getting the Ibrite procedure. My eyes looked the same after except that I started to have intense ocular migraine and extreme light sensitivity and that has been getting worse.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
