Dr. Goldman carefully explained the results of my x-rays and listened to what had happened to me and had already been done. He was polite and concerned.

I felt rushed by the provider. This may have been because he was running behind schedule, but it would have been good to have that communicated to me. I felt that my concerns about my symptoms were either being dismissed or made to seem minor. This could have been because the provider was certain of his diagnosis, but he didn't explain that much. I am grateful that I was assessed and the diagnosis wasn't severe, but I would have appreciated a bit more care, understanding, and explanation of the diagnosis and his rationale behind responses to my questions.

Dr Golden is very empathetic doctor. He understood my dire condition, and was supportive and respectful of the fact that was pretty much out of options. He encouraged me to continue seeing my other provider who provides symptomatic relief, when the underlying damage Is beyond repair. I have immunodeficiency that predisposes me to life-threatening infections post-surgery. I'm a very slow healer, and even after healing the tissue Is fragile and never recovers the muscle characteristics: the cut never fills with any functional tissue; instead, it forms a "valley". I was in the ICU in critical condition after 2 surgeries. The first was a severe sepsis from a foot Infection that required an amputation to remove the infection source, but the antibiotics didn't seem to control the sepsis and I was given a 10% chance of waking up the next morning. I also bruise and bleed very easily. Two years later, my entire back (spine) was fused from neck C2 all the way down to L5/S1 and anchored to my pelvis. During laminectomy I was bleeding profusely, and by the time the surgical team was able to stop the bleeding I had lost 3,000 cc's of blood, almost 2/3rds of my total blood volume. I was given blood transfusions during the surgery. Afterwards I was transferred to ICU, uncertain if I would ever regain consciousness. The two near-death experiences were after surgeries that just couldn't be postponed, and all the surgeons, doctors and nurses did an absolute fantastic job-saving my life twice. But now another, pretty significant surgery, would be needed, Dr. Golden thoroughly understands, accepts and even encourages my thoroughly thought-out decision to not choose a surgery that likely won't heal properly, greatly increases.subsequent tears. I will be able to ha to have much more years of decent quality-of-life if I just carefully manage the symptoms-instead of being forced to an iffy surgery by my inexperienced primary who is completely incapable of seeing anything from the patient's perspective, only his own.

My first visit with Dr. Golden was a truly uplifting experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness, despite being fifteen minutes late. Heidi his nurse kindly allowed me to proceed with my appointment. I could tell immediately that Dr. Golden was wise beyond his years and his cheerful demeanor instantly put me at ease, alleviating my worries about the visit. If you're seeking an orthopedic doctor who embodies wisdom, knows what he is doing, efficiency, care, honesty, , friendliness. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. David Golden, MD. I saw Dr Golden for left knee pain… he was very thorough in his exam and explained non-surgical options for a torn meniscus which worked for 8 months but when the pain came back i decided on surgery. I’ve had no pain in my left knee since the surgery! Dr Golden is a great surgeon and always jokes around during my visits. I plan to see him for my right knee soon

Excellent care

I have been seen by this doctor back in February 2024 with a post traumatic arthritic knee. He took an X Ray on both knees and came back with a scrib that would put down on an i-pad what this doctor said. Bottom line, in less than 5 minutes I was out of the office with a knee brace that is lying somewhere in the back of my car. He showed me a model, (no it wasn't about knee replacement) on what should be done, since my knee had bone on bone on one side. Up to this date, I couldn't find the details of the presented procedure (very painful and with very painful recovery per Dr. Golden). I am disappointed to say at least. I acquired the ChiroTech knee massager and after only a couple of days, my knee is getting much better.

The doctor felt rushed and gave me barely an explanation about my symptoms / pain. Given the fact that I had to wait for an hour to get seen, I felt rushed during the consultation. I get that the doctor has to see a lot of people but I didn't feel like I was given all the info I needed. Doctor Golden was nice though!
