I am shocked at the minimal amount of reviews for Dr. Aaron Savar. Like seriously, I would expect him to be a celebrity status type of hype, ya know what I mean? Anyways, I have been to many eye doctors for my sensitive eyes, and I have never met a doctor that fits everything a doctor should be. He was as kind as can be. He walked in with an aura of calmness and knew exactly what he was doing. He even saved me from having a retina detachment. I did not even know I had (crazy). He is one of the only doctors that have literally inspired me to be humble, kind, attentive, and smart. He is seriously the definition of what a doctor should be. Most doctors are egotistical, cruel, quick to talk and leave. He took is time and spoke to me with such care. He gave me so much information and made sure I felt okay leaving. It was great. He deserves to have 10000 good reviews up in here.

I have known Dr. Savar since his completed his residency program. There is no finer ophthalmologist and now he is joined by his two sons. The office is friendly and efficient and they strive to please and make your visit as comfortable and easy as possible. Dr. Savar is not abusive. I have seen him deal with the many elderly patients who need eye care, and he is conscientious and considerate of their diminished capacities, mental as well as visual. I have been a patient of Dr. Savar for 15 years or so, and have always found him open, communicative,friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and skillful. He is better than 90 % of the doctors I have seen in explaining exactly what his examination has shown, what it means, and why he is recommending the treatment he prescribes. In my view, you couldn't ask for a better opthamologist.
