Debra Luftman's Online Review Report Card

I wrote a review month ago seems it's not here. I went to doctor Luftman for a long time on and off when I needed something done. Last time I went was the last time as her staff there is very rude beyond belief and I'm surprised that she keeps them because the way she handled me this one girl in the office she shouldn't talk to anyone the way she talk to me and I reported it also. Because of this treatment and Dr. Luftman not doing anything about it I will never return to her again and I give her a zero star rating even though I have to put in at least one star to be able to post this I believe I do not recommend going there to anyone, if she cared about her patience and how they were treated, she would hire nice people to run the office. I'm looking for a new dermatologist and there are way too many five star good ones around just an FYI if you want to be treated properly do not go to this place.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Luftman and her office. They are curteous and friendly.

I had the least thorough body check from Dr. Luftman. She basically had me stand and twirl around. I almost want to pay to have another dermatologist recheck. I do not trust her judgement. Her bedside manner is poor. No personality, no sense of humor, not reassuring or calming at all. I will not be returning and I would never recommend this doctor.

Love Dr. Leftman and her staff. It’s hard to find a good dermatologist. Dr. Leftman was on time, friendly and straight forward in answering my questions. Her staff was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her. And there’s free parking right around the corner…. Great plus!

Recently moved to this area, in need of dermatology visit. Scheduled first appointment early morning, arrived before staff which walked in 15mns late with no apologies. Second visit same situation, Dr Luftman was rushed to spend time in room with me, she did an excision leaving a dent or noticeable hollowness with a hideous scar from her stitching. Now I need to have a scar revision with a plastic surgeon to correct hollowness left behind. Honestly feel this doctor should go back to school for etiquette in delivering patient care but most of all how to suture. So, if you are looking for a place to butcher you this is it.

I saw Dr. Luftman on many occasions. I always found her and her staff to be very kind and helpful. The problem came when she recommended doing IPL treatments on my face for some redness. She had been treating me for rosacea and Melasma at the time. I had heard the IPL treatments could make Melasma worse and she repeatedly assured me they wouldn't. Fast forward to the third treatment and I left with large splotches of brown all over my forehead. I had previously only ever had Melasma on my upper lip. And it had faded a lot thanks to use of topicals. She assured me the spots would fade and I left my appointment really worried. I took pictures of my forehead and sent them to the office the next day but no response. It's now about 2 years after the treatments and I still haven't heard back from Dr. Luftman or anyone at the office. And I still have the brown patches on my forehead - even with use of multiple topicals and light chemical peels to reduce the melatonin. I feel like she was just trying to sell me something - or she was uninformed about Melasma. Either way it's not good.
