Edgar Fincher's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Edgar Fincher is the best dermatologist in Los Angeles. He is very kind and gives ample time and care to patients. He skillfully removed cancer from my face and I was looking back to normal after just two weeks with minimal scarring. I am a Medicare patient and his office are very good to me and I appreciate him very much.

I've seen Dr. Fincher twice now in the last 6 months, both times to remove questionable growths, one of which might've been cancerous. Happily it wasn't. At 68 I'm healthy, but have still seen more doctors than I'd like. Dr. Fincher has a sure, gentle touch. I saw him just this week to remove an ugly thing that was growing on my skull. Removal required a local, and...needles, before he could do the actual job. I'm here to say that it was the first time in my life that I did not feel the needles going in...at all. The whole procedure took less than 10 minutes; aside from his very careful technique, he's also fast. And a nice guy, with a sense of humor. You can't ask for more.

Great Dermatologist, This is my second time seeing Dr. Fincher and he has been nothing but kind, efficient, and knowledgeable in his diagnoses and treatment. I highly recommend him.

Had a half lift and full co2 laser. He is so refined in what he does. There is not a HUGE change in my looks, but subtle and refreshed. He is quiet and gentle. I truly would recommend him if you want a natural look and have modest expectations!

This doctor was very sweet! He truly cares about each and every one of his patients. His ability to diagnose my condition when many other doctors weren't able to, really made me feel very safe, comfortable and confident.

I will not return. Dr. Fincher is nice enough, but maybe because I was on medicare, he didn't do the Mohs method my mother or others I know had. Instead seemed to just cut out a large piece all at once. Wouldn't hear of sewing up, guess it was too big a piece he cut out for that?Said I wouldn't have a scar. And in fact it will be a huge scar. If you're over 65 these days, I guess you're throw aways.

I visited Moy, Fincher, Chipps dermatology and was seen by Dr. Fincher. His service was great! I was A little worried about the wait time but he got me in and out in a timely manner, addressed all my concerns and took his time with me. Ive had bad experiences with other docs in this area but I'm happy to say that Dr. Fincher lived up to the hype. His nurses were very friendly and the office was beautiful. I would def. recommend Dr. Fincher to my fam and friends. Thanks Dr Fincher!!

When I was told I had skin cancer I panicked. I had a friend who died in his 30's in 1989 from skin cancer that was discovered too late. In any case, Dr Fincher, from the moment he entered the exam room, put my fears at ease. He discussed my options and somehow made everything seem manageable. He explained my surgical procedure completely and even discussed what could expect in the way of scarring. I had surgery 10 days after my initial consultation and now, 3 months later, I couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr Fincher and thank you Katie (his wonderful nurse). It may have only been a routine procedure to them but to me it was a huge deal. Thank you so much.

Dr. Edgar Fincher is a kind and caring doctor. Very attentive and thorough with all my questions and concerns. The staff are very accommodating. I completely enjoyed my visit.

I was referred to Dr. Fincher for a Basal cell on my face and had such a good experience . I was extremely nervous knowing he would have to cut on my face but Dr. Fincher explained every step of the way and kept me calm through the whole process. Such curtious bed side manor and I am extremely happy with the end results. My scar is 6 months out and barely noticeable. He gave me realistic expectations and I am very pleased.
