Friendly and unhelpful Horrible spine specialist! I saw him for 3 months to chat with him. I did everything that he asked for and he still wasn’t able to help me. He continued to tell me that he needs an MRI before he can help me (prescribe me medication). I get him the MRI for him to tell me I have a valid reason for being in pain because I have a small slipped disk that could be leaning on my nerves of my right leg causing it to go numb. He has told me to go the ER for medication and help and even after seeing and confirming my pain I’m still laying in my bed not about to move or live my life or move! What happened to the doctors that care for patients!
Have to start over again with new provider after 6 Incompetent and dysfunctional staff unable to schedule MRI in 6 months, kept looping back to uncertified providersDoctor takes offense at discussion of staff problems.DO NOT waste your time on this place.
waste of time and effort Incompetent and dysfunctional staff cannot schedule an MRI in 6 months, Doctor takes offense at staff incompetence.Don't waste your time on this place.
THE DOCTOR WITH THE HEALING HANDS Dr Ersno Eromo is AMAZING and he has EQUALLY AMAZING HEALING HANDS!! He has a very pleasant bedside manor, he’s professional, and makes sure you are very, very, VERY, very, very well taken care of. In the hospital, office, or telehealth visits. He even fixed what another doctor couldn’t on me. i will be FOREVER greatful for this!! I tend to talk a lot, and he is very patient with me The Staff are also ALL incredible, and answer all of your questions! I know i don’t understand everything right the first time all the time, but i really appreciate Dr Eromo and his Staff!
Friendly but Not Invested In Patient I requested that my primary care refer me to Dr. Eromo specifically. Between August and November 2023, I had three appointments and saw him personally two of three times. He referred me for MRIs on my brain and on each segment of my spine (after advocating for myself). He's very social and personable. That being said, his friendliness does not take away from his inability to explain what a T2 hyperintensity found on my spinal cord meant nor his lack of interest to investigate it further to rule out lesions and tears. His physical examination notes were inaccurate and made no mention of the trigger points that bought me to him in the first place. Lastly, my cervical MRI mentioned a central disc protrusion with impression upon the anterior spinal cord, stenosis at two levels, bulges, and the 7mm T2 hyperintensity. He never mentioned the impression upon spinal cord or its potential impact. Since seeing him, I have had additional weakness in my arms and legs.
Rookie Dr who works with Dr. Eromo To start with, Dr. Attenello should take a remedial course in Bedside Manners. He expressed the emotion and compassion of a robot. More importantly, he didn't care about the onset of my re-injury. He merely assessed based on notes he cursorily read while sitting in front of me. He's a new doctor and has much to learn.I tried informing Dr. Eromo of my experience but no one returned my call. They don't care so would you feel comfortable being treated by people who aren't concerned about your pain or well-being?
This doctor is rude, When he makes the visits he does not make the patient speak, and whit a presumptuous air of saying things, this is not a professional style, we see that he has no education of good doctors
Dr. Eromo only asked a few questions and his examination was brief. He did not ask about any of my back history. He did not go over the x ray with me- he merely confirmed my condition of Spondylolisthesis which was diagnosed 30 years ago. Although I came in with severe pain from a recent accident, and barely able to walk, Dr. Eromo was dismissive and unhelpful. I was told to get physical therapy (which I will) but was sent off with no treatment plan for pain which sent me urgently seeking help.
Dr. Eromo is fantastic. He really knows his subject. I felt that he took his time to make sure his diagnosis was correct. His step by step approach was very comforting in that I was able to understand his approach to help me. It was an excellent experience.
I would be positive if anyone would have helped me with my insurance or even called me back re: the nerve ablation? Which now many very highly rated MD in NYC have told me to run not walk away from such a procedure!!!!It is a terrible procedure that my ins denied and I have been told that n o one should have their nerves burned!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
